Because they see themselves as screwed in the next few years if they don’t act now.

They’ll be better off if they leave. Freeedom is a very precious thing.

“I am MOVING to TEXAS!!”

What makes you think the Republic of Texas would have lax immigration policies?

lol
We'll get in before they secede.

Also, this is a pipe dream. Tx has many federal contracts operating.

They still have the same problems as other states—big parasitic cities are blue!

The PNW minus the coastal urban population centers could be another candidate for secession, forming either a new state or country called Columbia. It’s been proposed before.

Yes, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin are all blue. Let alone most of anything close to the border is blue.

Texas would be a nuclear power—but they would have to “borrow” the nuclear football first. :-)

She’s OK, she was on the MMP in `05.

I wonder if she stayed at one of the Dorms during the Project?

Texas has several other freedom-loving states bordering it.. they could leave as a bloc.

Pass a bill which says Texas leaves the Union if they cross certain red lines, like Court Packing etc. Make it clear to the left they will pay this price.

If Texas tried to leave, does anyone seriously believe that the leftists and DC deep state will simply say “OK, you go your way, and good luck to you?”

NO. The ideology of marxism is a religion. They will not allow heretics. They will not stop or cease their efforts

Rather Texas should rather stay, and NULLIFY unconstitutional Fed.gov laws. It will provide an example to others. It also should limit the activities of Fed.gov agents in Texas not to overstep their bounds. It should also make sure the TX National Guard is reliable.
