Liz Cheney: ‘We Cannot Become the Party of QAnon’ [and Holocaust Deniers] [ed]

During her remarks to colleagues at last night’s closed-door GOP House conference meeting, Liz Cheney defended her vote to impeach Trump over the January 6 Capitol riot and also said “we cannot become the party of QAnon,” referring to the deranged conspiracy theory that Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia has promoted in recent years.

“I owe you the truth, I owe my constituents the truth, you owe us the truth, we all owe each other that, and the truth is: We cannot become the party of QAnon, we cannot become the party of Holocaust denial, we cannot become the party of white supremacy,” Cheney said, according to a source in the meeting.

Racist? The word has no meaning at this point in history. LOL. If anyone in history was a racist it was Lincoln.

OK, so Lincoln was an astute master politician and did whatever his political objectives demanded. But what about his personal attitude toward the blacks? Alas, he left no doubt as to his disdain for the slaves and his firm belief in the inferiority of the black race. Here is his famous quote from a debate with Sen. Steven Douglas, from "The National Park Service website's "Lincoln Home Historical Site's Page," entitled "Fourth Debate Charleston Illinois":

" I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races, [applause]-that I am not nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race. "

I don’t defend Lincoln. Why are you defending the confederacy? Maybe because you are a racist.
