The U.S. military on Wednesday acknowledged it was unsure about how to address white nationalism and other extremism in its ranks, and announced plans for military-wide stand-downs pausing regular activity at some point in the next 60 days to tackle the issue.
The decision to a hold a stand-down was made by Lloyd Austin, who made history by becoming the military's first Black defense secretary after a long career rising in the ranks of the Army.
In his confirmation hearing, Austin underscored the need to rid the military of 'racists and extremists'.
Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said Austin ordered the stand-down after a meeting with the U.S. military branch leaders, who are under pressure to show progress in combating extremism after current and former military servicemembers were found to have participated in the siege of the U.S. Capitol on January 6.

I can see this being used to deliberately create an undermanned military to create the arguement for either the draft or as a way to stock with foreign nationals to be used against the American people.

I hadn’t realized it was extremist to demand our leaders
observe our Constitution, their oaths of office to it.
What is the proper stance these days? Is it to be the best
citizen possible by watching and supporting our leaders
as they ignore the US Constitution, and do whatever the heck

Imagine the idea that anarchy in our highest political
institutions is the ideal we seek to attain.
Imagine having to be afraid of members of the military who
are dedicated to service and the defense of the United
States of America.
Imagine what our leaders are looking for, if not people

About all we can do is recognize our political leaders as

Studies have shown that NOT ONLY are whites NOT racists they're so afraid of being called racist they've quit seeing reality.
For example: If you're asked which racial groups are more likely to form violent street gangs - and your answer is 'all groups are equal' in gang formation, you've lost touch with reality. Black and brown Americans are much more likely...
Which racial group is more likely to create mass killers? That would be whites.
What group has the highest murder rate? That would be blacks.
Most white people fail these types of tests... and they fail in the direction of giving minorities a pass on problems within theirs communities.
Democrats need to put up or shut up: Exactly WHICH thoughts should be illegal. What "thoughts" are crimes? What 'thoughts' should get you fired from your job? Then let's pass laws to that effect.

This was a discussion point behind the planned creation of an EU Army. It was suggested that having French troops deal with unrest in Spain would be easier, as Spanish troops would be less likely to fire on their own people.
