Former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer (R) announced Monday that he will challenge incumbent Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) should organizers collect the 1.5 million signatures by March 17 required to put a recall election on the ballot.
The former mayor could also run in 2022, when Newsom is up for re-election, if there is no recall or the recall fails.

Not at all...especially with rigged voting and “ballot harvesting”.
He can get himself some $$$.
The Republicans have also learned how to do ballot harvesting and that’s why they won several seats in the House of Representatives last November.

LOL. There is no statewide Republican office holder in California, and we are down to only 19 of 80 House members are Republican.
There will never be another Republican Governor of California. Ahnold was not a Republican. He was a celebrity. He was elected because he was a Hollywierd celebrity.

He’s our only chance. Perhaps the Democrats are so disappointed they’ll give the liberal Republican a chance. We’ll be there for him but they won’t return the favor anywhere else. It is what it is.
Never say never. Many parents with kids still not in school are furious and are working on recalling him, their school boards, etc. And business owners are now jaded and wary. Most of these are Dems. (Ready to “even vote GOP!” The horror.)
Faulconer is known as a centrist Republican. He opposed former President Donald Trump’s candidacy and criticized a number of Trump’s policies, including construction of a wall along the southern border.
