A Capitol Police officer was put on leave for fatally shooting the pro-Trump rioter Ashli Babbitt.
Investigators are not recommending the officer be charged, The Wall Street Journal and CNN report.
The final decision, however, has yet to be made by the Justice Department.

Disagree...It was a kill shot against an unarmed woman. And there were plenty of cops right behind her stopping others from following her.
Probably just a snowball’s chance in hell that the general public is going to see bodycam footage of the event and be able to make a determination for themselves whether the officer was reasonably in fear of death, or if the rules of engagement were otherwise followed. Because, lords and peasants.
