Wearing masks, gloves and face shields, voters across Myanmar on November 8 braved surging coronavirus infections as they turned out en masse to cast their ballots in the country’s second democratic vote since the end of military rule in 2011.
At polling stations in Myanmar’s largest city, Yangon, the enthusiasm was palpable. ----snip-- Trouble, however, was already brewing.
Just days before the polls, Myanmar’s powerful military chief Min Aung Hlaing had raised the possibility the army may not accept the outcome of the election. Accusing Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi’s government of “unacceptable mistakes”, he told a local news outlet that “we are in a situation where we need to be cautious” about the results of the poll. --- SNIP-----
The campaigners said businesses owned by Min Aung Hlaing’s children have profited from their access to state resources during his tenure and noted that as commander-in-chief, Ming Aung Hlaing has ultimate authority over the military’s two major conglomerates – Myanmar Economic Corporation (MEC) and Myanmar Economic Holdings Limited (MEHL) – which hold investments in various sectors, including gems, copper, telecoms and clothing.

Enriched children are mentioned.
Did the Biden coup to take control of America embolden the Burmeese general ?
As goes America, so goes . . .
The military had to step in when an election fraught with fraud put into power a neoliberal supported by the CIA and other spook agencies...?
🤔
Yeah. I know nothing about Myanmar, but if I had to guess, I’d say the military may be the Good Guys there, doing for their country what our military has failed to do against Biden.

DOMINION VOTING SYSTEM.?????
So far.
Our military is busy doing its “patriotic duty” to make the world safe for perverts.
:-(
HRC and the Obola gave them nuclear technology
for NK and Iran in exchange for children and
kickbacks for the US Congress and the FIB and DO”J”.
NOTHING to see hear, fellow slaves and food for the ELITE.
Because Xi was in the process of making it a puppet state
In another thread on FR, I have promoted my podcast on Southeast Asian history. You can bet your last dollar I will talk about this coup eventually, probably the next time I record an episode about Myanmar.
we will see come end of march beginning of April if the insurrection act was put in place and our military has been in charge instead of biden
“Both the United States and the United Kingdom have since imposed sanctions on Min Aung Hlaing over the campaign, which United Nations investigators said were executed with “genocidal intent”.”
For the record, there has NOT been any genocide or ‘genocidal intent’ there, since, if the military wanted them all dead, they would be dead. Instead, there has been ‘ethnic cleansing’, similar to what’s happening in our cities and certain countries like Zimbabwe and South Africa, and cities being burned down (think Portland or Seattle last year), and yes, some killings, but nowhere near ‘genocide’. So the military there fights hard, but they didn’t start it either.
So far not yet in the open.
Stuff is going down now that needs the MI of being in the dark. I don't want to know... do you?
Moving from Dark to Light.
Given that Bitem is opposed to the general, I'd say the general represents the good guys - the white hats.
Like here.
Yes, yes I do want to know.
OTOH, if I know, the targets will also know, and I'd hate to ruin the surprise...
“Did the Biden coup to take control of America embolden the Burmese general ?”
Of course. All the goons will come out of the woodwork now. If they don’t push their respective agendas now, they will never get a better chance,
This is the TRUE result of corruption. No corruption remains strictly localized...the world is in for a real cold shower.
Like the man said, so long ago: ‘What is good for American is good for the world... what is bad for America is terrible for the world.’
W. Churchill (and HE oughta know)
I will watch to see how Biden and China feel about the coup. My position on it will be the opposite of their position.
The Bitem coup emboldened the Burmese Aung.
The general has done what will unfold here now, thru the Spring and beyond.
