The gist of it: A group of college kids had a backyard party, leftists condemned this gathering and are snitching on those who attended.

You beat me to it. It is a term used by lefties to try to shutdown anything they don't agree with. I have seen lefties call what appeared to be a family picnic in a local park, dad and son playing catch, etc. a "super spreader"
