The number of new coronavirus cases and hospitalizations across the nation continued to go down last week — although the death toll remains high, according to reports. Cases dipped by 17 percent in the week through Jan. 27, while COVID-19 hospitalizations dropped 10 percent, the according to the COVID Tracking Project.
It marked the second straight week of decreases in both categories. But the death toll from the virus remains at numbers not seen prior to this month — rising 7 percent last week with another 22,797 reported fatalities...
In New York, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Sunday that the seven-day positivity average for COVID-19 tests declined for the 23rd straight day in the Empire State. “We’ve dealt with a holiday surge driven by increased social activity,” Cuomo said in a statement. “The surge is reducing.”...
Despite the silver lining, Cuomo also said Saturday that the dark cloud of the pandemic remains over the state — the overall positivity rate in New York ticked upward over the prior day, from 4.65 percent to 4.75 percent.

Colorado has dropped from 22% of hospital beds occupied by COVID patients to 7%. Looking a lot better here.
Seems a little too convenient to me that the covid new cases and deaths go from epidemic, raging, over the top, out of control while Trump’s in office to almost immediately fading and under control as soon as Biden takes office. Sure sign the fix has been in all along.

I want to know what happened to the ‘flu’? I have yet to see even ONE commercial about where one goes to get a ‘flu’ shot.
NOT one of my physician acquaintances have spoken word one on the dreaded ‘flue’ this season... A year ago NOT one of these acquaintances had a clue about the Wuhan virus .. a year ago all these physicians only were pushing a flu shot.... I know because I asked them across three unaffiliated states.
We are carrying on correspondence with eleven physicians in our own county on this very subject. Two have stated to us that they are SCARED of potential reprisals if they don't "abide by CDC guidelines." Ones who work for hospital systems are under pressure by their employers to allow people just to be sick until they need an ICU. Early treatment protocols are a "No, No!!"
Yeah, they’re trying to be smart about it. Well, at least somewhat subtle. But not subtle enough. It is obvious that the numbers, and certainly the perception have been manipulated all along.
