Ted Cruz: President Trump was “Both Reckless and Irresponsible” and Did Not Prove Election Fraud in Any Court (VIDEO)
Gateway Pundit ^ | 1/31/21 | Jim Hoft

Senator Cruz is an example of a Republican who will never win a national election and especially moving forward after the 2020 election. Democrats BRAZENLY used EVERY TRICK in their bag to steal victory in November 2020. And they did it without a hint of shame.

In this week’s video, Senator Ted Cruz accused President Donald Trump of spouting “overheated rhetoric” about the election and failing to present evidence of voter fraud.

Starting at the 16:52 mark of the January 25th, 2021 episode of Verdict with Ted Cruz, Senator Ted Cruz states the following:

Senator Ted Cruz: “President Trump’s rhetoric, I think, went way too far over the line. I think it was both reckless and irresponsible because he said repeatedly—and he said over and over again—he won by a landslide; there was massive fraud; it was all stolen everywhere. That evidence, the campaign did not prove that in any court, and to make a determination about an election it has to be based on the evidence, and so simply saying the result you want, that’s not responsible and you’ve never heard me use language like that. What I’ve said is voter fraud is real, and we need to examine the evidence, and look at the actual facts; and in particular, what is the evidence of how much voter fraud occurred, and did it occur in sufficient quantities and in sufficient states to alter the outcome of the election. That would have been the mandate of the election commission; to assess.”

And later around the 25-minute mark, he refers to the events of January 6th, 2021 as “a terrorist attack on the United States Capital.”

Republicans better wake up! They either act now or the GOP will be the minority party in the United States moving forward.

I had at least some respect because, as DoughtyOne pointed out, he occasionally said exactly the right thing which I would latch on to.

However, in the most important and significant scandal in the history of this country, the disenfranchisement of more than 70 million voters an an obvious election fraud, he says this.

I am done with him.

Rand Paul did not object to the certification. At least Cruz did.

Still, I cannot fathom this bit from Cruz.

>Remember how important it was that Amy Conehead Barrett got confirmed? And party boy Kavenaugh? We went to bat hard for both of them. They both flipped us the finger because Roberts the closet homo had a hissy fit... that’s the whole reason.<

I wish Clarence and Sam would tell us what really happened.

The courts were to busy finding excuses not to hear the evidence so that the fraud which occurred could not be proven in court.

Just this week we had a court declaring that thousands of ballots were cast illegally and that such can never be used again-but gave no remedy for the 2020 election-letting illegal votes stand.

Cruise just lost any hope of ever being President as far as I’m concerned. He really should learn that there’s a time for silence.

The Dem/Media, most of the RNC, and others have done and are doing exactly that. Declaring "victory" without considering actual evidence.

Teddy Boy, he can’t prove fraud in court if they keep throwing the cases out!

Like Teddy Boy, I believe the determination of who actually won is up in the air, but that doesn’t make Trump irresponsible for claiming that he won, even in a landslide (doubtful). If getting rid of that fraud switched 3 or 4 swing states, then he would win!

It’s the RNC Convention all over again.

I will give him credit for his later comments about Election Fraud being investigated by the Election Commission.

Of course it’s like sending a Fox to count the Eggs in the Chicken Coop.

Just when I thought he was starting to grow a pair, he reverts to being a eunuch again.

I wonder how much this has to do with 2024? If he thinks he’s going to get the nomination by bashing Trump he’s truly delusional.

Wow. I was a big supporter of Ted Cruz but he blew that with his stupid statements. If he truly believes there was no fraud, why did he stand up and challenge the electors in Arizona? I think the mob that is after him on twitter and elsewhere is getting to him. He was my favorite to run for president if Trump does not run, but no longer.

That's what I think. The Senate is not going to allow Trump's attorneys to bring up all the election fraud.

In the first trial, they weren't even allowed to say the so called whistleblower’s name, let alone cross examine him.

So some nameless guy gets to accuse the President of a crime and the Senate was okay with that.

This trial will be a sham too.

I supported Cruz in the 2016 primaries. I was wrong.

This is why I could never be politician, because when I am wrong I admit it.

Cruz is a globalist shill. He is a McCain like Senator and not to be counted on

Cruz knows plenty of evidence existed, but no court wanted to hear the facts. Trump trusted his lawyers to initiate the law suits. Trump is naive, not being a lawyer.

This is a show trial being held by the Democrats to placate their far left wing. There will be no evidence admitted that the Democrats do not want admitted.
