Absolutely...What if he doesn't? And I can see where it might be desirable to him not to run. He is, above all, a fighter; and it may become apparent that he can concentrate his energies against the Rat/Rhino combine more effectively without POTUS duties.

The GOP wants to bury their role in the bipartisan election steal and Trump isn’t going along with China Mitch’s impeachment show trial game plan.
finally, an explanation that makes perfect sense.

Spot on Doctor. I totally agree with your remarks. See my post 31.
I’m not exactly sold on my idea, but I do believe the best approach to this impeachment scam Is for Donald Trump to presume before Congress that he is in fact and in deed the legitimate President of the United States of America.
And based on this conclusion, his attorneys will bring to light all proofs and evidences of election fraud, and subsequently prove that Donald Trump was not guilty of incitement on January 6.
However, it must be understood that the Senate will not listen to any of these arguments. They don’t have to. They will hold a vote at their convenience and confirm the impeachment brought by the House and they will formally remove the president.

I like to give a Thanks or compliment when due. I am really impressed by your thinking on topic. Your POV explains much: from Pelosi wanting the nuclear codes, to the NG still guarding the Capitol when there is no threat, to Bill Maher’s continued obsession now that “Jaws” Trump is silent, and POTATUS Biden signing every far left EO put in front of him.
(Thanks also to whoever came up with POTATUS, love it.)

Is Trump an ex president? I’m not so sure. He clearly won the election last November The very fact the Democrats openly moved millions of votes over to Biden, and the fact they held a sham inauguration really doesn’t matter. See tagline. President Trump is a legitimate president and the Congress knows it. That’s why this impeachment is so important. They want to give an air of legality to the illegal deeds they have done.
Yes, and the problem with that is that the Chief Justice is required to preside if the president is impeached, and he isn't coming. If Trump can reverse the election, they would need to hold the trial again with the CJ. It's everything possible to obstruct Trump. No ploy is to dastardly, including inviting foreign interference in the election. So, impeaching Trump twice and holding three trials is Trump's badge of honor as a D.C. outsider.

Trump is right. The evidence of fraud has yet to be presented to the nation in an organized, focused, and comprehensive manner. You are right. There's
Navarro's excellent report here. I would love for Trump's one plus hour of defense to be just reading one by one the instances of fraud and the violation of Article II, Section 1, Clause 2 of the Constitution.
To: Dr. Franklin
I cannot see any possible outcome where President Trump wins.
The only saving grace for me would be for Congress to reluctantly admit that President Trump is in fact the legitimate President of the United States. And even if they impeached and removed him as president, that would be a I could live with.
But as you say they need CJ Roberts to complete the bastardization of this process. And while Roberts is a lowlife, he is not about to lower himself even further. He ain’t coming.

"no evidence"
Speaking of evidence of possible election fraud shenanigans(?):
Redpill78 had whistlevlower Ryan Hartwhig on his show.
He told about a plane that was in Arizona at election time. It possibly had ballots on it? And it had other strange details.
The story starts at 13:48 mark.

There is a deliberate attack on Trump’s right to legal representation. The threats to disbar Rudy Guiliani and Lin Wood for fighting vote fraud. The naming and shaming and threats of other attorneys on his vote fraud cases by the Lincoln Project.
Liberals would recognize this as a civil rights violation if conservatives were creating lists of ACLU death row attorneys to harass into quitting.

With almost all the election result suits claiming fraud were lost in court, how come so many of the judges that allowed this to happen were Trump appointees?
To: gleeaikin
To be honest, I don’t think Trump was served well by his attorneys.
If half of what we were hearing was true, and some of it almost had to be, there should have been some solid cases.
Governors and election commissions cannot change election rules.
Nobody can refute that.
The Legislature is the only body that has that authority..
Why didn’t that fly? It baffles me the way the courts handed this election to Biden.

That would be too easy. Perhaps he wants to be a martyr, and actually get convicted, but portray at last the voluminous evidence of fraud already presented in six state legislatures, and ignored by the media. After he’s convicted, he can appeal to SCOTUS on the grounds that the trial was unconstitutional, and force them to actually take a stand and rule directly on the merits. Whether or not he gets to hold the office of POTUS in 2025 would then be a moot point. They probably will kill him anyway. He will have forced truth on the deep state, in the bright lights of television cameras, starkly and without spin. They cannot be allowed to steal the next election.
