President Joe Biden is talking about unity, but in his first days in office, he’s pursued a divided economic agenda that will undercut the recovery he’s promised to deliver.
To bring the country together around revived job opportunity and wage growth, he is going to have to break with the leftist ideology dominating his first moves on the economy.
The biggest threat to President Biden’s pursuit of economic recovery isn’t coming from outside his party, but from within it.
It’s no secret that Democrats are divided between purple-state centrists and blue-state progressives. But those ideological divisions are now showing up in economic policy that is at odds with itself.

The Biden cries for unity are a futile attempt to have his disparate left wing elements come together.
Folks here who like to eat popcorn and enjoy the show had better stock up
The tone here seems to be that Trump left us in the midst of the Great Depression and people are hoping that Joe can find a way to dig us out of the hole.
Huh?
And of course, FOXNews, I am sure that signing those 30+ EO have had little to nothing to do with hampering, if not wrecking, any type alleged economic recovery, huh!?!?!
“ It’s no secret that Democrats are divided between purple-state centrists and blue-state progressives. ”
Fox.
Who is paying any attention to fox’s “what color in ts the sky in your world” blather?
Fox.... Not sure what their game plan is. Same old actors just being jiggered around. Just different schedules, new names for shows.
Same-O-Same-O. 🙄
The author makes the assumption that Biden, or whoever pulls Biden’s strings, wants a recovery and more jobs. Saul Alinsky, the Left’s spiritual leader, wanted everyone poor and miserable so they would embrace communism. That’s the goal, even though most of the ground troops in Antifa and BLM are clueless. When the dictatorship arrives, it is the useful idiots who are arrested and executed first. I’m sure they will all be shocked when their time comes. The French killed the original revolutionaries. The Soviets killed the Mensheviks and many of their own Bolsheviks. Once the rule of law is gone, no one is safe. Least of all those who started the revolution, because, the new rulers know they ARE revolutionaries and that can no longer be tolerated.
I have seen some street interviews from the CHAZ and other riots. The participants are amazingly clueless idiots. So much so that they don’t even know how stupid they sound. I’ll bet if those women, made famous for the Hillary Lost screaming meme’s, would sound worse than any California airhead if interviewed. That’s the mentality out there breaking windows and killing businesses. (Oh, all while buying Starbuck’s five dollar coffee and taking selfies on a thousand dollar phone.)
It would seem that you are blinded by your antifox bigotry
The article is from Fox Business, a horse of a different color and purveyor of different stuff than Fox News
The author is a New Yorker who would never be allowed on Fox News
Since it appears that there will be no more real elections, we have now a benign dictator who serves at the pleasure of a committee of sorts who call the shots. Biden does their bidding or his corruption is revealed and he goes to jail
Until the revolution, America was
“ It’s no secret that Democrats are divided between purple-state centrists and blue-state progressives. ”
‘ It would seem that you are blinded by your antifox bigotry’
It would seem that you are blinded by fox. Democrats are obligated to the people who put them there and got them into the White House. And it’s not purple blue red or green states.
Maybe they can give them GameStop stock.
AntiFox bigotry?
You think I am the only one that can’t stand FoxNews now after what they did to many of us who are truly conservative? Try tens of millions on the right, kkthx.
You need to lay off the Lefty koolaid, Karen!
I’ve never been able to get a progressive to answer this question:
Suppose there are two states of existance.
In the first state, everyone makes the same wage. Call it level C.
In the second state, there are two wages where one is much larger than the other. Call them level A & B where A is larger than B.
Now, A > B > C.
Which do you prefer, the first state where all are equal or the second state where some are better than others but all are better than the first.
Idiot
You are intellectually unable to see must less understand that the article was not from Fox News
A > B
The reason A > B is because B is unequal to A
Inequality of wealth is the result of inequality. A is simply superior to B or certainly C

Did you answer the question, which state do you prefer, the one where all are equal (C) or the one where everyone is better off but some are better off than others?
"Undercut"? More like completely destroy the economy.
See any area where democrats have total control. They look like third world countries.
No more MAGA.
MALA: Make Americans Last Again
Venezuela here we come...
I will answer that there is never a state of actual equality. Even if equality is imposed, inequality will eventually rise to the surface.
We think in terms of wealth and economics but consider women. They will never accept equality of beauty. Pure old vanity that is of a sexual nature will never accept the concept of equal beauty and attractiveness.
Since there is not now and never has been equality of humans, It is not a matter of preference. Although A > B is the reality, if B perseveres and strives, the margin can be significantly reduced and even reversed.
All men are created equal but that equality ends in a few moments after conception. There is a fiction that all men are equal under the law but the war on President Trump and those around him puts that to the lie.
The problem is an old one and is the reason for the commandment thou shall not covet
