Good morning, E...((HUGS))...another fun day for you and Gizmo. So much territory to roam in.
Have a good Thursday.
Gizmo didn’t seem to mind the cold. He was wearing his happy face. LOL
Maybe it’ll be a little warmer today when you head out to Chisolm Trail Park.
Man...I do, too. Nor do I wish it to be as hot as last summer.
Maybe we’ll both have a better year. We’ll get rain and you won’t get cotton. LOL!
I looked to see what Farmer’s Almanac is predicting for our two areas of the country. They say we’ll have below normal rain through April and you’ll have below normal rain through March.
We’ll see what happens.
PLEEEEEEASE, no cotton this year!!! Or ever again!!!!! Corn or soybeans - - much more preferable.
Noooo cotton! EVER! I hope he knows that. LOL!
*sigh* “below average” that is so typical. I have forgotten what rain smells like. Almost. We did have that sprinkle the other night.
Guess I’d better try to sleep. It seems that since I was sick, I dread going to bed. And yet I’m sleepy. It’s just been a weird month all around.
I did talk to a couple of the guys who work for him when they were here to harvest. Told them how much we hated having in in our fields because it was so hard on us allergy-wise. We’ll see what happens.
After the last two WAY above average springs, a break will be nice. Just don’t want it too below average because we don’t want our wells to run dry. I doubt they will but it’s nice to have enough rain to not have to worry about it.
You’re staying up later each night. Almost back to normal. :-)
Sleep well.
Hope you and that handsome boy have fun at Chisolm Trail today! What's for supper?
This is my fave of all the pics:
