The real battle is in the 50 State Legislatures that are now or soon will be in session.
It is up to the State Legislatures, particularly in those states controlled by the Republicans, to enact new laws that STOP FUTURE STEALS.
This is the message I recently sent to my State Representative and Senator:

Great point. That is exactly what they are doing. They know that they are not getting rid of Trump. So what is the point? They are attempting to destroy the Constitution in the two short years that they control the 3 legs of leadership.

This will not pass unless the Senate kills the filibuster, which I do not see happening. This also raises Constitutional issues which will tie this up in the courts.
It does tell us, however, who the dems really are, for those here who think there is just one “uni-party” and the GOP and the dems are just alike. They are not.
The Dems stole the 2020 election. The states that cheated with the Dominion voting machines will do it again. So why should anyone trust the vote when one state verifies a voter with a picture ID and signature, and another state allows mail in ballots which don’t have a verifiable signature or any verifiable ID? The states that cheat rule the country.

H.R. 1 is blatantly unconstitutional. I don’t like it for what it is by itself, but even more so I don’t like the precedent.
If this thing passes and is allowed to stand, it is yet more evidence that the Constitution is no longer in force. At that point, I could say that all bets are off. Laws just become somebody’s idea of a nice-to-have.

I lived in 2 states that did mail in voting and worked as a counting volunteer in one of them. I saw no evidence of any cheating. I do agree with the ida of including a copy of your I’d when mailing in your ballot. A simple solution to verifying the voters identity.
I want as many people who are eligible to vote to be able to do so. That is the only way we have of removing those from office that need to be removed and the only way to get people into office that we support.
I disagree with those who say they will never vote again. Sounds like a child stomping their feet when they don’t get their way. I will continue to vote for whatever candidate or party that I choose to support. Not voting just allows those whom we do not feel are working for us to remain in office.

Mail in voting is completely wrong and should never happen. The only way mail should be legal is for absentee voting when requeted, and the military or those overseas.
I do not want as many pepole that are eligible to vote. I want people who are motivated and eligible to vote.
And, until the Demsheviks are thrown out of the seats of power that they stole, we will not have a Republic and voting won’t matter as every election from now on will be stolen just as this one was.
