It is so dumb that even John Roberts is not going to participate. This thing is made for a trump appeal through the courts to the Supreme Court. That should keep him prominently in the press until 2022 or later....

Among its many bad provisions, H.R. 1 would prohibit states from requiring voter ID, requiring signature authentication for mail-in ballots, or restricting the process of ballot harvesting and the use of unattended drop boxes.

Federal government can have no say in how states conduct their elections. This is another unconstitutional monstrosity.

Under different circumstances, I might agree with you; it might give former President Trump a stage upon which to embarrass the Democrats.

But as it stands, I'd rather that the Supreme Court simply declare that it is not possible to impeach a mere private citizen.

Wrestling with pigs (like the Dems) is an unprofitable undertaking.

The Bolshies got 55 votes in the Senate to do away with the Constitution.

Imagine the scene if Trump shows up in person. confronts his accusers and then outlines in clear persuasive language the evidence of the fraud that resulted in the corrupt Biden seizing the White House. Senator Leahy may very well get a heart attack pounging his gavel trying to get Trump silenced.

Dems get so drunk on power they always over-do things.

Those provisions of HR1 would be unconstitutional. Legislatures determine their own states’ voting requirements

Let them do their three ring circus to impeach. It is more like a badge of courage for Trump and shows the pure hatred the RATS have for one of the greatest presidents in American history.

C/J Roberts is supposed to be the presiding impeachment officer, as the Constitution requires.

Instead hyper-partisan Sen Patrick Leahy (D-VT) will preside; he has vowed to remain (cough) "impartial."

(Cue hysterical laughter here)

REALITY CHECK Leahy is on record as having voted in favor of Trump Impeachment One.

Leahy being impartial is tantamount to asking Hunter Biden, himself, as to whether Hunter Biden's activities broke any laws.

Because, like Michael Corleone, the Democrats have to take out all their enemies, not simply best them.

This reminds me of Zaphod Beeblebrox in “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”. Their goal is to distract from what those in power are doing.

Aren’t Toomey and Murkowski up for reelection in 2022? If they are to be “primaried,” we need to get on it.

With zero media presence those who opposed the steal are being silenced.
I know the leftist media is pushing trump incited insurrection garbage 24/7.

They’re banning “stop the steal” posters right and left. Mewe and gab and alternatives simply aren’t effective platforms yet, if they ever will be.

The left is probably winning the information war.

"Among its many bad provisions, H.R. 1 would prohibit states from requiring voter ID, requiring signature authentication for mail-in ballots, or restricting the process of ballot harvesting and the use of unattended drop boxes."

The Congress DOES NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY to determine those things...only the state legislatures do. Past restrictions of this sort have been imposed by the courts in the name of racial integration. Outside of court-imposed rules, state legislatures ONLY have said authority under the Constitution. Blatantly un-Constitutional legislation.

The Dems are pushing Trump out front on purpose. They NEED Trump actively in the limelight. Withot him as their Bogey Man they are nothing. They want the next 4 years to continue to be all about Orange Man bad, we can’t let him back, send us your money.
They don’t want their own people thinking about what they’re actually doing.

"Trump will undoubtedly be campaigning for those congressmen and senators who stood with him, and against the political traitors who turned against him. This guarantees that Trump will remain the dominant force within the Republican Party."

A good piece, short grafs that advance the argument, and a money shot right in the center.
