45 Senators agreed that this sham of a “trial” is unconstitutional.
That is more than will be needed to acquit and to eventually end this partisan impeachment process.

Sure they will find some way to weasel out, but he needs to force them to do so to expose once and for all how corrupt they have become.

Don’t risk it. Kill this attempt dead, quick. It’s a full on assault on the 1st Amendment, establishing government power to utterly crush anyone saying anything with consequences even vaguely construed as “sedition” by any stretch.
This fake impeachment is an opportunity to put the rigged election on trial.

the Framers of our Constitution intended it to be used for malfeasance in office, and not used against innocent people out of office.
indeed, i can think of only one historic example of an impeachment charge after someone left his govt post, and that was long ago and was widely critcized as unconstitutional then

Rand Paul is in good form, though. Mark Steyn says he stood up to Stephanopolis and refused to say that the election was legit.
At the close of the Kabuki, after all the Senators had cast their votes and the acquittal became official despite a simple majority voting to convict, Donald Trump announced his candidacy for POTUS in 2024. Much later, after the television cameras were gone, they took Nancy Pelosi out, gagged and in a straight jacket.
The Demoniacs don’t care. Their hatred just drives them to drag Trump and his supporters through the mud as much as possible. Remember, they didn’t have anywhere near the votes to convict the first time around last years.
If the Republicans had their wits about them they could use this opportunity to great effect. Firstly they should point out that the whole proceeding is moot because 45 Senators have said its unconstitutional. Then they should have videos of what President Trump said and compare and contrast with videos of what Democrats such as Pelosi, Waters, Holder etc. have said. Then videos of the arrest of members of Antifa and BLM. Then videos of the capitol police, under Pelosi's control waiving protestors into the capitol. Also point out that there are a number of good reasons to believe the election was stolen.
This is a wonderful opportunity to both expose the hypocrisy of the Democrats and the cause of the unrest. If the Republicans orchestrate this properly they could really show up Schumer et al, but as usual I'm not holding my breath.

Went to Romney’s contact page and slapped him around for failure to support the Constitution, and for continuing to fake that he’s actually a Republican.
Every minute they drag this farce out, is another minute they aren't voting to increase our taxes.

This man didn’t even have enough courage to stand up for the Constitution, but went along with the other Republican cowards and voted to certify a FRAUDULENT election.
And because of traitors like him, a liar and a theft has been legitimized and made the most powerful man on earth, while helping to oust the greatest President this country has seen in a lifetime.
Rand Paul is NOT an American hero, because that requires courage and conviction at the most critical moments in history, and he failed miserably.
He makes me want to puke.
