At the risk of sounding like a crotchety old man I want to ask, why does he US have real people n our money anyway?

Our currency should not have a president, or famous person.

On the nickel a turkey
On the dime a rattle snake
On the quarter a grisly bear
On the half dollar a seated liberty
On the dollar a standing liberty
On the five dollar walking liberty
Oh the 10 dollar double liberty
On the 20 dollar a minuteman
On the 50 dollar the bald eagle
On the 100 dollar double eagle
On the 500 dollar a flying eagle
On the 1000 dollar winged liberty

There is a psychological distinction between cents and dollars in the American mind: cents are supposed to be coins and dollars are supposed to be bills. (No one thinks in terms of eagles.)
