Employees of tech companies in San Francisco, California, can’t leave the city fast enough, fleeing for the potential tech hubs of tomorrow such as Austin, Texas, and Miami, Florida. One former San Francisco exec said: “what else can God and the world and government come up with to make the place less livable?”

I have a friend who lives in San Francisco and works for sales force. He pays 6,000 a month for a two bed apartment. His wife complains about people shooting up and pooping in front the building but they don't talk about moving as of yet.

It’s unfortunate they can’t be forced to stay in the craphole they created.

Because they apparently think anyplace else would be just as bad, if bot worse.
They would be right if moving to liberal cities.

Pooping on the streets will do that to ya very time.
When the SpaceX Starlink really takes off, and everyone everywhere can have super high speed internet, who on earth would anyone want to live in San Francisco?
You an live elsewhere and work remotely. at these Silicon Valley companies.

After destroying their host they now believe they are victims and head to red states.

I’m in S.F., and 99% of the negative stuff you hear is true. But I would caution some of you red-staters against gloating too much... because some of this exodus is heading your way. Not all of these tech idiots have learned their lesson on the hazards of liberalism. I’m aware of one person who moved to Austin from S.F. who’s a conservative Republican entrepreneur, but I’d imagine that the majority of our exports are liberal fools who will help turn their destination states blue (or at least purple).

California is getting exactly what it deserves.

God has nothing to do with it; it’s the liberal government that allows it.

Eh, fine if they just stay the heck out of Texas. I don’t want to have to flee TX because the very people who voted for the politicians that ruined CA also ruin Texas.

I can assure you that God had nothing to do with the unlivable conditions found in San Francisco!

Back in 2001, we were considering a job move to Google in CA. I looked up where to live. Houses were over $600,000 for a small 2 bedroom. Apartments were around $3,000 per month for a 2 bedroom. I looked at trailer parks and they had a 2-year waiting list.

I strongly caution citizens of Red states to guard your state legislation against the importation of Socialism. Just look at Georgia and Arizona as two examples of what happens when you freely allow Californian's in. Bay Area Californians are the most Socialist of the bunch.

I had a neighbor that moved to SF for Chevron. He sold his house here for about $225K. In the city, he moved into a house 1/2 the size and had to get a 50 year mortgage in order to afford it. That was 15 years ago.

For that price he can get a lakefront McMansion 30 minutes from Atlanta and still save money.

I’ve been working remotely 4 years. Only thing keeping me from moving is no internet where I want to be; Starlink will fix that soon.
