Frank Luntz is talking about giving it up. After all you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to see that much of the driveby media does little more than lie. It’s not that hard to see.
He knows the media lies their ass off and sees no changes so why bother with them.
Rand Paul’s argument with George Steponallofus is not to be missed.

I asked a friend of mine yesterday who is high up in the Republican party yesterday what happens if Trump decides to go rogue and start a third party. He and many others don’t have a good answer. But, it remains a huge question, is there a smooth way to solve a messy problem.
Make the issue of one of incitement. Stipulate the election one way or the other, doesn't matter. This trial is not litigating the election, it is litigating the riot.
Said another way, incitement would be a "high crime or misdemeanor" even if the election was decided wrongly.
Another way to get there is to double down on the Congressional finding. Just label it a finding that is beyond challenge. simply assert that every statement in the articles of impeachment is true. The actual validity of the claim? Anybody who questions the infallible Congress is an insurrectionist.
Put Trump in a cage on the Senate Floor.
