Actually, we don’t know if Gates got the vaccine or just a fake shot.

Odds are it was NOT the vaccine.

EVERYONE follow the link in #68, in case you missed it in the prior thread, as I managed to.

I’m trying to let it sink in. Can things get any worse?

Gates probably also paid a hefty sum to gray his hair and make it appear mussed for the occasion.

Different states have different primary rules.

As always - the dumb, weak and useless deserve whatever munificence the powerful and smart are willing to provide

Looking at the Pope - his preference is to take us back to when Indulgences and large land holding by the Church were the currency of the day.

Abortions - killing of the unborn are also OK with this Pope. - Certainly a major step back from John-Paul

If you read the the four page Article of Impeachment, election fraud consumes almost two pages of the article (pp 3-4). It is central to the incitement charge. How can you not address the substance of what allegedly incited the crowd?

From the Article:

On January 6, 2021, pursuant to the 12th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, the Vice President of the United States, the House of Representatives, and the Senate met at the United States Capitol for a Joint Session of Congress to count the votes of the Electoral College. In the months preceding the Joint Session, President Trump repeatedly issued false statements asserting that the Presidential election results were the product of widespread fraud and should not be accepted by the American people or certified by State or Federal officials. Shortly before the Joint Session commenced, President Trump, addressed a crowd at the Ellipse in Washington, D.C. There, he reiterated false claims that "we won this election, and we won it by a landslide." He also willfully made statements that, in context, encouraged — and foreseeably resulted in — lawless action at the Capitol, such as: "if you don't fight like hell you're not going to have a country anymore." Thus incited by President Trump, members of the crowd he had addressed, in an attempt to, among other objectives, interfere with the Joint Session's solemn constitutional duty to certify the results of the 2020 Presidential election, unlawfully breached and vandalized the Capitol, injured and killed law enforcement personnel, menaced Members of Congress, the Vice President, and Congressional personnel, and engaged in other violent, deadly, destructive and seditious acts. the Article:

President Trump's conduct on January 6, 2021, followed his prior efforts to subvert and obstruct the certification of the results of the 2020 Presidential election. Those prior efforts included a phone call on January 2, 2021, during which President Trump urged the secretary of state of Georgia, Brad Raffensperger, to "find" enough votes to overturn the Georgia Presidential election results and threatened Secretary Raffensperger if he failed to do so.

In all this, President Trump gravely endangered the security of the United States and its institutions of Government. He threatened the integrity of the democratic system, interfered with the peaceful transition of power, and imperiled a coequal branch of Government. He thereby betrayed his trust as President, to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.

I remember Hannity praising Rubio early on in ‘15 as a man who will be President after he’d heard Rubio’s passionate stump speech.

It’s apparently gone to his head...he still thinks he’s the chosen one, although no one else still believes it.

Different states have different primary rules.

Maybe in the stupid "open primary" states, RAT voters can help us knock out RINO incumbents. (unbeknownst to them)

There has been talk of changing the Senate rules, maybe just for this Impeachment Kangaroo trial. Reminds me of Chicago 7 trial. Abby Hoffman, Jerry Rubin et al wanted to try the Viet Nam war, Mayor Dailey’s police brutality, etc. to justify their “riot”, and crusty judge Julius Hoffman said no and cited them repeatedly for contempt. Schumer may even have Trump duct-taped, bound and gagged. What a spectacle. My worst fear is they will vote by secret ballot (via rule change?). The quislings and poltroons (like a Rob Portman-Ohio) would feel safe in sliding a knife in under the cloak.

See my post #127. Disallowing Trump the opportunity to defend quoted statements attributed to him in the Article of Impeachment would make it clear to all that this is a kangaroo court. How can you charge someone with incitement and not allow him to address the substance of what constituted incitement?

The Article includes this: "false claims that 'we won this election, and we won it by a landslide.'" Trump will not be allowed to respond to it?

Gates was well known at Microsoft as a very scruffy, as well as smelly BO type. He often wore the same shirt all week.
