Twitter did nothing to stop Antifa planning and promoting riots in Portland and Seattle weeks in advance, according to Journalist Andy Ngo, an expert on the anarcho-communist group.
At least 150 people gathered and participated in events punctuated by violence and destruction in the two states just hours after Joe Biden took the oath of office to become the 46th president of the United States on Jan. 20.
Wednesday’s riots saw agitators in Portland smashing windows and vandalizing the offices of the state’s Democratic Party, while in Seattle, the activists marched into the iconic Pike Place Market to smash up property, spray-paint buildings with an anarchist symbol, and smash windows, including at the William Kenzo Nakamura Courthouse, a federal building, according to KOMO.
“In Seattle and Portland, there were simultaneous riots that were pre-planned and organized, and also advertised weeks ahead of time on Twitter,” Ngo said in an interview with The Epoch Times’ American Thought Leaders program, ahead of the Feb. 2 publication of his book, “Unmasked: Inside Antifa’s Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy.”
“Twitter did nothing to take down some of these accounts that were promoting these riots,” he said.
Twitter didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment by The Epoch Times.
Ngo noted that Rose City Antifa is the largest and oldest Antifa group and has a strong presence on Twitter with thousands of followers.
The journalist said Antifa, which has a strong influence in the Northwest U.S., has a formal membership process that involves “radicalization, going to training, [and] having extremist literature to read,” which he noted is “very similar to how Islamists radicalize regular Muslims into their worldview.”

The National Labor Relations Board had allowed the workers a mail-in voting process citing Covid19 — but Amazon took them to court, demanding an in-person vote, because they feared FRAUD.
Portland is another Antifa/BLM hotbed and the demonrats have done ZERO to stop them in Portland.
If you’re right wouldn’t that make them co-conspirators with ANTIFA/BL? They have by their banning and censorship that they aren’t a platform rather a publisher. I’m not a lawyer but doesnt the principle of estoppel apply?

I wonder who is the platform provider for Twitter.... Or do they own their own servers? If so, they can’t be de-platformed other than by the point of a gun.
It’s almost as if twitter is full of carp.
Twitter is headquartered in Silicon Valley. So I guess until one of Biden’s handlers contact Twitter, then okay maybe by then so they finally do something about it.
I am willing to bet he will be silenced before the year is out: tax evasion, slander, domestic abuse, something like that. Trumped up charges that most people would get probation on, he will get three years.

Antifa is a myth....
They’re not revolutionaries if they’ve had the path of least resistance cleared for them and allowed to set up shop where they have. They were “cleared in hot” and it’s been burning ever since. They are always going to have their patented delusions of grandeur that they’re something really special. They think way too much of themselves and they need to come to that realization. These are still “the children”, who’ve been under the impression since they could walk, that they are the world and future, god’s gift to man and the genius offspring of the least appreciative generation of Americans ever (but don’t tell them that). However, they are absolutely oblivious to the fact that almost everything they’ve ever thought they did on their own is an illusion and perhaps a cruel joke (rhymes with ‘woke’) as well. This is the result of too much importance being placed on mere appearances and not enough on substance. The content of their character(s) has been literally adulterated by liberalism, political correctness, groupthink and self-empathy, which gives them the idea that even their most unrealistic expectations are now within reason just because it is their expectation to have an inalienable right to enjoy the double standards that they are incapable of recognizing in their own reflection(s). Unfortunately, those of us who have been paying close enough attention can only hope to have this band of treacherous miscreants and their leaders be soundly corrected before our time is up.
