What if I told you there was a way to transport oil and gas in a way that minimizes environmental risk, reduces carbon emissions, and generates more economic activity?

I would say that there is no incentive for control freaks to actually solve problems. Doing so would eliminate the need for the control freak to exist.

It’s coldly amusing to watch all the new Twitter comments to the Union rep who came out swinging for Pedo Joe when he “won” the nomination.

“That didn’t age well” is an understatement.

I wonder how many of these EOs will be challenged? I wonder why a pipeline construction even needs fed approval. Between the pipeline and the wall, how many contracts did the govt sign that have now been breached by the govt? I hope the contractors wrote in stiff penalties for breach by the govt.

When you look at oil spill data between rail and pipeline transportation, that becomes all too clear.

Yeah, Lac-Mégantic comes to mind. And that one is personal. What's a destroyed town here or there as opposed to keeping your base happy, eh?

Biden is a fool. Is there anyone in the Republican political class who will say it?

It is a great plan that will encourage more support for #TEXIT and secession.

Time to get the fk out of this failed experiment

Cancelling Keystone XL, banning new drilling permits on Federal Land - politics is also about creating political trends and a social atmosphere - from which thousands of smaller government and private decisions are made. And its clear the people controlling Biden want less oil and gas

Given this, we can expect $100/barrel oil by 2022.

You all miss the obvious:

1. the whole "climate change - global warming - carbon limits" scam is about controlling the power of the energy industry. Control the energy industry, you control their huge impacts on finances, military power (try fighting a major war without oil), and political reach.

2. Canceling the Keystone pipeline gives the oil from Alberta to the other bidder - China.

President Trump gave us the gift of energy independence. Biden is putting the shackles back on, gifting China in the process.

The pipeline is not cancelled. Biden is writing a bunch of EO’s with no more authority than I have. They are meaningless. They will never be enacted. His time is very short.

Easy..it’s part of overall plan to destroy the spirit and physical well being of the American people.

The North American Free Trade Agreement may stand in Biden’s way.

There is a special NAFTA court I believe.

Well, in this canceling of Keystone XL, he managed to pander to the hemp fiber-wearing, patchouli-smelling enviro-wackos that ugly cry every time a tree is cut down.
