Three unions seemed to be regretting endorsing President Joe Biden after his first day in office.
Biden revoked the construction permit for the Keystone XL oil pipeline on Wednesday, destroying thousands of union jobs.
“Leaving the Keystone XL pipeline permit in place would not be consistent with my Administration’s economic and climate imperatives,” Biden said, according to The Associated Press.
Keystone XL President Richard Prior said more than 1,000 unionized jobs would also be eliminated in the next few weeks as it slowly shuts down the construction of the 1,700-mile pipeline.
The United Association of Union Plumbers was one group that endorsed Biden last year, saying he would help it “win more work with good wages and benefits.”
“This endorsement is about putting UA members to work and fighting for fair wages and good benefits,” General President Mark McManus said in August.
Less than a year later, the union has expressed disappointment in Biden.
“In revoking this permit, the Biden Administration has chosen to listen to the voices of fringe activists instead of union members and the American consumer on Day 1,” McManus said in a statement.
“Sadly, the Biden Administration has now put thousands of union workers out of work. For the average American family, it means energy costs will go up and communities will no longer see the local investments that come with pipeline construction.”

Why are they surprised? The only ones the Dems lie to more than unions is blacks. Both groups crawl back and say “thank you sir, may I have another ?”
Words and more words. They may regret the loss of jobs but not enough to not vote for dems. Besides, the union bosses come out ok. It is the little guy that gets hurt and they can just convince rank and file ‘useful idiots’ to vote dem next time to fix things.
Well, take a look at yourself in the mirror.

3 years from now, the Union will endorse Biden's progeny. As often said, Liberalism is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
The first check cleared. No one said there would be a second.
What? Have they got the IQs of toadstools? Biden plainly said he would end fossil fuels and end fracking. Many times. Did they all think he was just joshing?

Those idiots are dumber than spit. They deserve every damn thing the are gonna get. The modern day Democrat Party only cares about government unions, not real working people.
I belonged to a union for 30 years. And never once was I allowed to vote on which politicians my union should endorse. Never once.
These endorsements were always decided on by shadowy committees. And no, I never got the chance to vote on those committee members either.
Unions are always talking about the importance of democracy. But they are among the most undemocratic organizations around.
But like so many institutions, many unions are run by people who aren't really in touch (or may have never been one of) the actual membership.
