Good morning, ML...((HUGS))...hope you and Penny are enjoying some good hiking weather.
We were just above freezing and everything dripping all day. Hoping for snow over the weekend.

Hey there, Kathy.
LOL! I figured you’d get it.
Any chance for some R&R this weekend? You could use it after the week you’ve had.

That is very odd. Lord, just what you need is some new pollutant to make the air untreathable just when the cotton stuff is finally going away.

“I thought I might do some tunes tonight, but I am wiped out. Maybe tomorrow. Sorry to be a slacker.”
That’s OK. We forgive you this time because of the special circumstance.
However, be VERY careful in the future or we shall have to take very severe action!

This happens often during summer when we get stuck under a high pressure dome and pollution from Nashville or Huntsville builds up under it. But we aren’t under one now so we don’t know what this funk is. Maybe it’ll be gone tomorrow, maybe not. Rain’s moving in Sunday and that should clear things up for a while.

Yes, I remember it well.
Andy Williams’ version of “The Days Of Wine And Roses” would have been just a routine song but for the nearly off-key ending.
It was a downer, just like the movie.
Musical magic.

Did you finally have some sunshine for your trip to the lake with Gizmo?
We had sunshine but it was still pretty brisk outside. It was nice to see the sun, though, and made for a nice day.

We had some really nice weather yesterday.
We'll see how things go today. I did get a couple of these head shots of Gizmo.

I haven’t seen the movie, but the song “Days of Wine and Roses” reminds me of those New Years Days when we went to the Rose Bowl Game. We established a tradition of washing down our picnic lunch with good French champagne before heading into the stadium to cheer on the USC Trojans.
