“It gives one pause when France is more masculine than America.”

I read a story several years ago about a Frenchman taken prisoner by Somali pirates. Late one night he got loose, killed a dozen pirates, stole a boat and escaped. Dam!

I saw a French cartoon after the Americans on leave stopped a terrorist attack on a train. It was a train ticket agent talking to a French couple. He said, “For an extra fifty Euros, I can seat you next to an American.”

One of my issues with getting involved in WWI was the notion that somehow the countries fighting Germany were saints.

Especially the Belgians after what King Leopold did in The Congo.

“So what is accomplished by apologizing?”

More than you might think gator. An apology for past wrongs allows positive outcomes in the present and future.

Personally, I’ve never thought that personal relationships and character plays a role in politics between two controlling parties but I’ve seen that it actually does matter.

President Trump has proved it matters by staking out economic wins to warring parties and found peace from a different angle is widely disparate conflicts between Serbia and Albania as one example.

So, the two together can have an enormous stake in the fates of nation looking to the future.

We could use a whole lot more of it gator. Because ChiCom Joe is going to unleash the neoliberals with the neocons in short order.

They’ve already sent in more forces not a day into Beijing Biden’s usurper term into Syria.

What the hell do we need to be doing in Syria?

How very true and as you know with WWI, there was not many winners but a whole lot of losers, especially all those trench-dwelling soldiers.

Just a total inescapable hell.

The French were high-handed colonial rulers. A backlash is never pretty.

There’s one coming here.

I’m behind him for this, and rather surprised. Now, I imagine who is pulling the Leftist/NWO strings is going to ramp up the outrage rioting by the ‘youths’ for some $$$. The world is on fire, so if this doesn’t start a giant SJW sh*t storm, well, my wild guess is a sh*t storm.

I’ve read that one of the best Wall Street Investments a person could make, between 1914 and 1916 was Imperial German War Bonds.

Although I regard Macron has a creep, I will give him credit for refusing to go on the self-abasing apology tours and also for ruling out any consideration of taking down any of France’s historic statues.

Good for you, Macron.

Now, start kicking the invaders out of your country.
