President Joe Biden has many connections to Philadelphia, one being his link to the University of Pennsylvania and launching the Cancer Moonshot project from there five years ago. That effort has led to many cancer breakthroughs.
The Cancer Moonshot project led to major federal funding for cancer, and now new treatments that are saving lives.
“My goal is we find absolute cures,” Biden said in 2016.
That was then-Vice President Biden at the University of Pennslyvania five years ago to kick off the Cancer Moonshot.
“It’s a source of pride that the ribbon was cut here at the Abramson Cancer Center at Penn and the person, the leader of that, is now the president of the United States,” said Abramson Cancer Center Director Dr. Robert Vonderheide.

Right, so the project lay dormant under PDJT, according to enemedia who never uttered a peep about it until now.
The Fact Checker portion of some news service during Trump has shut down; don’t need facts from Joe since he’s always/will be correct on every subject as Dear Leader of NK is.
The ChiComs have laundered at least $900,000 to China Joe through a fake professorship at Penn.
Had anything come of the Biden Cancer moonshot, then they would have been bragging about it during campaign as proof that Biden would have been better at running COVID-19.
They didn’t, so we know nothing came of it.
Unless I misremember, this is the foundation which has spent the vast majority of its funds on paying the Biden family board members and the salary of the CEO. Imagine what might have been accomplished had funds actually gone to cancer research.
This is just another funded cancer research branch. The Pharms participate.
Joe, he’s the one, he can heal the sick, raise the dead and make pretty girls talk out of their head.

Yes, I recall something like ZERO went to curing cancer.
I looked for it in Charity Navigator. There is a Cancer Moonshot Inc. headquartered in New York which began in 2007 but it has no rating or information at all on that site or Charity Watch, that I can find. The Biden Cancer Initiative at the University in Pittsburgh does have a report on Charity Navigator. The last figure reported was 2019 which had nearly $3 million spent, 100 percent of it on “expenses.”
Addng a little more detail: the Biden initiative was largely funded by grants from the federal government and the board members included Beau’s widow, Hunter and their sister.
In spite of all the claimed cancer breakthroughs, ten or fifteen years from now cancer care will be better but will still mostly as it is today: expensive and often dreadful in its burdens -- but also genuinely sparing of life and health. Meanwhile, healthier foods and nutritional approaches for the prevention and treatment of cancer will continue to be under-researched and neglected.
That would be a good story to push, make the Biden’s try and right this wrong and improve PR. That would be of benefit.
