Trump to lead national election integrity drive as first post-presidential move, says adviser

Trump's goals for next two years include "winning back the House and the Senate for Republicans in 2022 to make sure that we can stop the Democratic craziness," said adviser Jason Miller.

Top Trump adviser Jason Miller told "Just the News AM" on Thursday that he expects former President Trump to "emerge as the nation's leader on ballot and voting integrity" in the coming months.

Miller, who was aboard Air Force One with Trump and his family as they flew from Washington, D.C. to Florida on Wednesday morning, told show host Carrie Sheffield that Trump "has a number of goals over the next couple of years ... winning back the House and the Senate for Republicans in 2022 to make sure that we can stop the Democratic craziness."

Miller added that lots of the important work that will need to be done on voter integrity will "never get done in Washington," because Democratic lawmakers won't allow the issue to be taken seriously.

Following the November presidential election, Trump and his campaign and attorneys launched a number of high-profile inquiries into the ways ballots across the nation were counted on Election Day, into the night, and in the coming days as absentee ballots were tallied.

Miller said that he believes Trump's forthcoming plan, which will take fuller shape in the coming months, will entail working closely with individual states and their legislatures to ensure the validity and integrity of future American elections and the votes of the country's citizens.

Though he says the former president has not yet made a decision about 2024, Miller hopes to see Trump return to the White House for a second term in 2025.

I knew he wouldn’t sit around and mope like most former Presidents do for several months after leaving the office.

This man never stops working! He lives to work.

Hmm, it appears that President Trump’s talk of a Patriot Party is his version of the Sword of Damocles. A tool to be used IF certain conditions are not met. Smart. He hasn’t quite given up on reining in the Republican Party. Yet.

You’re correct, until the Get-Trump!! Fever has abated somewhat, he and some of his family may be better off on foreign soil. That may take at very least two years, until the Mid-Term Elections in 2022. Right now, several Dems remain delirious with Trump rage, and some RINOs as well.
Melania is not going to want to uproot Barron from school again, but we will see.

You do not need to be a party member to vote for them. If reports are correct, Trump is also looking at a third party.

So being unaffiliated doesn’t allow me to vote for a rep in NC? OF Course it doesn’t but it may stop them sending me requests for $$$$$.

I agree. And I hope he runs again in 2024.

He is very sharp and active and if anyone can be president at the age he will be, it is Donald Trump.

The NY AG is gonna come at him with a lot of bluster and nonsensical charges.

Some here are terrified that they’re gonna put Trump away.

They’re not.

And what’s worse, some are taking shots at Trump for this or that.

The guy gave up everything for US and the country.

He’s my de facto leader right now

Great! But isn’t it a shame that we have to do this, because the framers of the Constitution failed to build in enough safeguards against election fraud and cheating?

Any moves made to insure election integrity should involve blockchain technology. Can be absolutely tamperproof.

Probably should have done it when he was the most powerful man in the world instead of waiting until he was the most hated, eh Skippy?

One of the big eye openers to me was how lame and gutless the GOP state legislatures are. They are just like the DMV, or the school board. Kind of scared clerks. Too bad every state legislator wasn’t. . .Steve Bannon.

Or think of our county health directors—many of whom after March 2000 had to quit their jobs or cower and follow others in other counties or the state when they just couldn’t step up to the hard work ahead. Just didn’t step up. Disappointing.

I don’t feel we were dumped by Trump. If anything, we let him down. I went to a rally in Nevada in October when he begged us to all work as poll workers. To watch. To observe. To not be bullied away.

Did I? No. (Because I live in CA, but still.)
