Thousands of National Guardsmen were forced to vacate congressional grounds on Thursday and have been photographed having to sleep in parking garages while temperatures in the nation’s capital were set to dip down to near-freezing temperatures.
The photos of the living conditions that the National Guardsmen were forced to endure come after Democrats took complete control of the federal government this week following Joe Biden being sworn in as the nation’s 46th president.
“Yesterday dozens of senators and congressmen walked down our lines taking photos, shaking our hands and thanking us for our service,” a National Guardsmen told Politico. “Within 24 hours, they had no further use for us and banished us to the corner of a parking garage. We feel incredibly betrayed.”
“All National Guard troops were told to vacate the Capitol and nearby congressional buildings on Thursday, and to set up mobile command centers outside or in nearby hotels, another Guardsman confirmed,” Politico reported. “They were told to take their rest breaks during their 12-hour shifts outside and in parking garages, the person said.”
“Speaker Pelosi personally met with the Secretary of the Army to demand 14,000 National Guard troops be deployed to the Capitol,” a source familiar with the security discussions at the Capitol told The Daily Wire in a statement. “But there was no logistical plan provided by the Speaker’s office on where the service members would sleep.”

More to the point of my post. These are all NG/REMF types. Combat arms/SPec oPs forces are doing a real job right now whether you realize or wish to admit it to yourselves.

Did any of these troops even get issues any ammo? I will bet that fewer than 1 in 1000 have any bullets at all. And the ones that do are unit unto themselves with a specific mission.
Total lib freakout when it gets to past this point....to where the dems are actually publicly asking whether or not the Troops have been properly vetted and if the Trump supporters in the ranks may be planning a rebellious insurrectionist revolt on the grounds of the Capitol.
Me thinks they do protest a trifle bit in excess of what should be the norm.

Yes! I did see that. If there’s one thing I’ve seen and heard about Trump, it’s that he actually cares about people.
The Speaker had the active biscuit and football since Jan 6th. Hers may still be the active ball as Biden is not cognitively able to launch the attack (that is unless Obama had Biden’s football/biscuit and codes, which would be kept a close secret).

All the hotels in DC, NoVA and MD counties adjecent to DC are shut down to all except essential workers due to Rona

All of this to create an illusion of a threat to attack Trump and his supporters.
The troops were made to move by an as yet unidentified Capitol Police person. Capitol Police are under control of th House and Senate. If they were going to be at the Capitol, who is the genius who made their food and shelter decisions and arrangements? Congresspeople of both parties reacted with outrage and got them back into the Capitol. They had been resting on the floor in hallways as Congressional personnel walked around them to conduct a workday’s business. I heard earlier that they had not been allowed to eat in one of the Congressional cafeterias, a wrong that has also been corrected. Note, this was not DC police or DC government. I picked the link below as it was only 5 hours old. Other major media also had stories but written earlier.
