I’m still wondering about the legality of using troops in this manner.
They sure put on a big fireworks show for the National Guard. (They were about the only people allowed in DC, right?)

The real fear the Democrats had was that if people were freely allowed to assemble, not that there would be violence but throughout the ceremony shouts of “Fraud, fraud, fraud...fraud” would be loudly chanted and heard by all. Illegitimacy breeds insecurity.

Perhaps at some point the right will get the message that imagining that we can find common ground with the left and peacefully coexist is a foolish concept. The lion does not concern itself with the opinions of the sheep, and the dems view themselves as the lions in this story.

An interesting question. National Guard is routinely used domestically, for emergencies from natural causes and rioting. At request of the Governor, which DC doesn't have. Presumably the request would be the Presidents, in this case President Trump. Troops are routinely used to protect Federal facilities, so I doubt there's any problem. But the fact does remain, National Guard troops are under the Dept. of the Army.
And crime. I doubt I’ll be visiting again. Lots of cities falling into that category, at least for me.

The corrupt thug butt-kissing press did a nice job NOT showing how few people had shown up for the inauguration... That really WAS the story - and they 'missed' it. Or intentionally 'missed' it so the message of 'Biden is a loved leader who will unite us' - the lie - gets through... Shame on 'the press' for the millionth time...
The corrupt press even avoided pictures of windows - windows citizens weren't standing in - weren't waving from ... Not even watching from a damn window - is that death of joy or what?
I suspect all the hoopla about 'domestic terrorists' was played up to distract from the ugly truth - - that no one really wanted Biden beyond corrupt white liberal 'elites'... Biden - the 'president' of white trash 'elites'...
So anytime you PERCEIVE an attack...you just call out 26,000 troops??
