Thousands of US flags have been placed at the National Mall in honor of the nearly 200,000 Americans who were not able to be present for the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.
The display, which is called the 'Field of Flags,' is comprised of 191,500 US flags and 56 pillars of light. Images taken on Monday showed the flags carefully placed in rows near the US Capitol.
The flags are representative of the Americans who cannot travel to Washington, DC, to attend the inauguration in person due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Biden should have filled it with a few thousand honking automobiles, if he could muster them. Donald Trump would have had a million supporters cheering his worthy, true Victory.And all Joe can bring is 200,00 flags surrounded by 26000 national guard troops.

Wait a minute, there are 191,500 flags each representing 200,000 Americans? Must be Joe Biden type math. In the kind of math I studied in school that would be 38,300,000,000 (38.3 billion) Americans. Is he including everyone who has died in here, including the Native Americans all through history?

Some truth to that. The actual truth is that they each wanted power and could not exist with each other.

I know. For the longest time they didn’t have an American flag in sight a speech, not they want thousands of them.
How about one flag for every defenseless unborn baby they have killed. Oh wait. That would require the entire DC area along with all of Maryland and Virginia.
They should have put up some of those giant windmills, and put that empty space to good use.
They should hold the inauguration at night so they can use candles and no one could see that no one is there to hold them.
These same bastards would never go to a cemetery on Memorial Day to put out flags for real American heroes.
