Based on the amount of time spent on it in my high school class, the most significant event in American History was the 1848 Seneca Falls convention on women's rights. I despised that class and it was years before I learned to enjoy history.

Wait, I seem to recall all this happening in the early 30’s. It can be stopped,by three stages, Home school, Home school and Home School. If that don’t work, Community private Schools. We’re a nation of immigrants, each group has it’s own American history to be shared. Whether from the past or the history of the future. I don’t read fiction, there are too many stories out there that are real, I don’t need fictional stories.
