The best thing that ever happened to our grand kids was going to good private schools, 9-12!
An uncle on their mother’s side provided a large % of the costs, then their parents and we made up the difference.
That enabled them to be able/qualified to go to great out of state colleges or the few good ones in California.

That is my reaction as well. Seriously, people, first try to take back your public schools. If that fails, then private or home-schooling is the only viable option we have. Even if you have to borrow money, it’s worth it.
