The adoptive father of BLM Capital Hill riot agitator John Sullivan was disciplined by the U.S. Air Force for sending nuclear weapons parts to Taiwan, the Republic of China.
Maj. General Kevin J. Sullivan retired from the Air Force after the incident.
Saying he could not ignore the “breaches of trust that occurred on their watch,” Acting Air Force Secretary Michael Donley laid out what in some cases were career-ending punishments Thursday for six Air Force generals, reported NBC News in 2008.
The officers are mainly in logistical jobs and were involved to some degree in the mistaken shipment to Taiwan of four electrical fuses for ballistic missile nuclear warheads in 2006. The error did not become known until this past March.
[USAF Chief of Staff} Schwartz, who met with each of the Air Force generals personally, said that while the officers were not accused of any intentional wrongdoing, they “did not do enough to carry out their leadership responsibilities for nuclear oversight. “For that they must be held accountable.”
He became an associate at joined Dayton Aerospace, a defense industry and Pentagon consulting firm, as an associate the next year.

Know this is bs. Yes the Air Force send a warhead fuze that was accidentally packed as a helicopter battery. Gen Sullivan did not purposely send anything, but it happened under his watch. Especially problematic after the ACM Minot to Barksdale incident.
When was Taiwan communist?
Yes, they are, but things aren’t always as they seem. What if the PRC was running a false-flag operation to drive a wedge between the ROC and the USA? Not saying for sure that’s what happened in the case of Sullivan pere and the fuses, but you can’t discount that possibility.
Putting that all together I think this was actually incompetence and negligence writ large.
My objection is lumping Taiwan in with China as Communist when they’re trying to stay free. Doing that is the authors attempt to tie the father to the son and it’s a stretch.
Should the families of traitors be jailed? If the traitor was executed, would that serve as deterrent?

AFA honors Hill’s top maintenance, logistics professionals
The Air Force Association (Ute-Rocky Mountain Chapter) annually recognizes top performers from the Ogden Air Logistics Complex, 748th Supply Chain Management Group and 75th Air Base Wing at the Maj. Gen. Kevin J. Sullivan Maintenance and Logistics Awards Banquet. This year, 28 military and civilian Airmen were honored during the Nov. 27 banquet held at the Davis Conference Center in Layton.

Sullivan is Caucasian and I think is at Dayton Areospace in Ohio. The John Sullivan is African American and lives in Utah. Can anyone confirm these two are related? This is a fake news trick for "right wing news". Take a story in current events. Find someone or something that has a few similar words in the story, like a name. Then claim they are related.

There is a Kevin J Sullivan with relative John in his 60s living in Utah.
It was totally an accident that entirely changed the way these parts are handled and tracked. If you want to blame something, the Air. Force should not have closed their logistics center in Texas (San Antonio)? They didn’t know where parts were 10 years later.
btw, that kevin sullivan in UT has an address that is a 600k house 3600 sq feet.
