As many as 25,000 National Guard troops will be in Washington, D.C., for President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration next week, the Army confirmed on Friday.
The Defense Department authorized up to 25,000 service members — an increase of 5,000 from numbers confirmed earlier this week — to support the “federal law enforcement mission and security preparations” in the inauguration, as led by the Secret Service, according to an Army statement.
“Our National Guard soldiers and airmen are set around the city to protect our nation's Capital,” National Guard Bureau Chief Army Gen. Daniel Hokanson said in the statement.
Every state and territory, as well as D.C. itself, will have Guardsmen deployed to the Beltway to support the Wednesday event following last week’s deadly attack on the Capitol, which forced a joint session of Congress to temporarily delay certifying Biden’s Electoral College victory.

Twice as many troops as we have in Afghanistan. Sleeping on cold, hard floors for a whole week before being sent out to confront US citizens.

“I have a friend who did 36 months in Iraq. Natl Guard. He came back after have been blown up in a humvee. Of those in that thing, only one got out without injuries. He has a huge back problem now, went to Ft Knox to have a disk surgery and they did the wrong disk.
On his way to Milwaukee to see a specialist, he and his wife had stopped at a red light in the city. A black dude came up beside them and said something snotty. He racked his 9MM and called him the N word and was going to shoot the guy. The guy went through the red light and took off.
His wife said that it took HOURS to get him to calm down. After they got to the med center, she managed to get the 9MM and hide it in the vehicle.
He often goes out camping by himself and has told me that when he does, nobody had better get close to him.
I can talk to him. His wife says that I am the only one who he talks to that seems to clam him down.”

You may be right Diogenesis, but my take is that ANTIFA only
does two things.
Riot and blame it on others.

“Oh, this was 100s of years coming. It has been so unfair.”
They don’t come and actually support a candidate.
That’s in direct opposition to their game plan.
Now I would love to see them come and take it to Biden, just
to reveal who and what they are.
