We received a lengthy letter from Dominion's defamation lawyers explaining why they believe that their client has been the victim of defamatory statements. Having considered the full import of the letter, we have agreed to their request that we publish the following statement: American Thinker and contributors Andrea Widburg, R.D. Wedge, Brian Tomlinson, and Peggy Ryan have published pieces on www.AmericanThinker.com that falsely accuse US Dominion Inc., Dominion Voting Systems, Inc., and Dominion Voting Systems Corporation (collectively “Dominion”) of conspiring to steal the November 2020 election from Donald Trump. These pieces rely on discredited sources who have peddled debunked theories about Dominion’s supposed ties to Venezuela, fraud on Dominion’s machines that resulted in massive vote switching or weighted votes, and other claims falsely stating that there is credible evidence that Dominion acted fraudulently. These statements are completely false and have no basis in fact. Industry experts and public officials alike have confirmed that Dominion conducted itself appropriately and that there is simply no evidence to support these claims. It was wrong for us to publish these false statements. We apologize to Dominion for all of the harm this caused them and their employees. We also apologize to our readers for abandoning 9 journalistic principles and misrepresenting Dominion’s track record and its limited role in tabulating votes for the November 2020 election. We regret this grave error.

I’d say we’re up Shiite creek without a paddle... in a very leaky old boat.
And it was essentially legalized fraud by changing the rules as they were going along, then essentially codified by Courts like the PA Supreme Court. The Democrats were able to immediately adapt to the changes (after all, they knew in advance what the changes would be) and the Republicans did not. “Vote on election day” bit us in the behind in the end - no way to tracking who had already voted and then target those who had not yet voted like the Dems were doing (even if they were filling out the ballots for them).
Then we failed to move on to the next battle after having lost that one, wanting to refight the battle that had already been lost...deciding to give up 2 more Senate seats. Those races were close enough that all of the attention to the Krakens, etc. that took focus off of the races would have made up the margin.
Every result from forensic analyses showed Dominion Voting System machines swapped Trump votes to Biden. I disregard this letter as an attempt to hide that fact. I believe something like that happened when I watched a couple of times on TV when Trump votes were taken down and Biden’s votes when up by approximately the same amount. I believe what I see, not some letter written weeks later.
Ah, but did they tuck tail and run, as American Thinker has? Personally, I believe the claims of mass fraud were likely fake news. Yeah, sure, there was some fraud here and there, but nothing like has been reported. Same with the idjits that believe it was setup in Italy. If there's mountains of fraud, release it now, to the American public. It's too late for courts now. Show us the evidence - all of it. Otherwise, my point was, if you stand for the truth, you don't tuck tail and run. Your parents didn't tuck tail and run. They fought, regardless of the outcome.
As an attorney may I say, American Thinker did the smart thing. If something happened Election Night, and following, and I think it did, one can not just go around blaming anyone and everyone remotely connected to the event.
I believe there are guilty parties, and the Dominion people are probably no angels, BUT THAT BEING SAID, if some crooked Democrat repeatedly inserts a Biden Ballot into the machine a thousand times, then that ain’t on Dominion, anymore than it is on the electric company that supplied the power to the machine.
I believe that Trump was cheated out of the Presidency, and I will be posting a vanity post later today or tomorrow on that, but madly slinging around allegations about Dominion WITHOUT PROOF, will get your a$$ sued off every time.
Dominion did not, so far as I know, claim there was a water leak and chase Republicans out of the room, and Dominion did not, so far as I know, print up a gazillion phony mail-in ballots and Dominion did not, so far as I know, back date a bunch of late ballots.
That is on the criminal enterprise aka The Democratic Party, and stupidly wild allegations about companies like Dominion, WITHOUT EVIDENCE, only makes the credible allegations about the DNC look like a conspiracy theory too.
Those are my thoughts.
Kudos to American Thinker for bailing out of the Crazy Plane!
It's been pointed out in several places that that "affidavit" from Italy bears no resemblance to a real Italian affidavit and contains easily demonstrated errors. Ultimately, it's a document by some guy nobody ever heard of saying what he heard in a meeting with someone he doesn't name about what some other people are supposed to said in court.
American Thinker has discredited itself several times over in recent months that had nothing to do with voting machines or the election. They had an article claiming that mRNA “genetically modifies” you (it does not and cannot), even after Trump had himself personally acknowledged his COVID diagnosis, went to the hospital, and confirmed his symptoms, they published an article claiming “all signs point to false positive” and Trump was having no symptoms or issues. That publication is ridiculous.

Amazing what the threat of litigation will do. Especially if there’s a chance of losing.
Which Ministry of Propaganda outlet has apologized for and retracted all of their Russia, Russia, Russia BS?
Guess who has more financial backing to afford these law suits. It ain’t AmericanThinker.
No offense, but the fact that you are asking this as a question clearly demonstrates that the details of this alleged manipulation are sorely lacking.
I believe the woman you reference was testifying in Michigan.
If a machine "switches votes" from one candidate to another in a precinct where the voters actually cast paper ballots that are counted by the machine, then a hand recount of the ballots would immediately expose the whole thing as a fraud.
From what I've read, the use of fully electronic voting machines with no paper ballots may have been more widespread in the past, but this method of voting accounts for less than 5% of the precincts in the U.S. today. Sidney Powell's apparent ignorance about this simple fact exposed her as completely unfit to make any kind of legal challenge to the election. She wasn't even fit to make intelligent public comments about the matter.
Philadelphia was the epicenter of illicit (and potentially fraudulent) ballots being counted in Pennsylvania.
Philadelphia doesn't use Dominion machines to count votes.
They didn't need the machines to rig anything. They just counted hundreds of thousands of votes without any regard for whether they were cast legitimately.
Indeed lawyers can drag a case out for years it’s why so many fold even when the have the facts Dominion did the rigging democrats had the plan after they couldn’t charge Trump on fake charges and all the other fake issues.
How do you do a "forensic analysis" if you don't have access to the software code?
That's like doing forensic accounting work for a business without knowing their bank account numbers or their Employer ID #.
You’re absolutely correct!
. . . and yet Dominion feels the need to bully people and companies, which is not what an innocent party does.
Why don’t you just turn Democrat and move over to Twitter? Just come out against Trump, fire off an opus, and leave FR.
Can you provide a citation to some evidence to support that statement?
Add to that the preliminary Lawfare that Democrats waged to pressure changes in election laws in various states. Perkins Coie was involved is some of those suits.
Thank you for posting that. It’s a comprehensive post that reflects my sentiments precisely.
