With These Figures, It's No Shock Why Republicans Got Swept by Democrats in Georgia

After all the vote totals were analyzed, it’s no shock why Democrats swept the GOP in the Georgia runoffs. Comparing Election Day 2020 to the January 5, 2021 runoffs, there was a massive dip in Republican voter turnout. Some 500,000 Georgia voters decided to stay home with Republican districts seeing the bigger declines in turnout. Jon Ossoff beat Republican incumbent Sen. David Perdue by 55, 354 votes. Raphael Warnock booted Kelly Loeffler by 93,659 votes.

Due to the lack of GOP turnout, Georgia has two Democratic senators. Sorry, twohorribleDemocratic senators. One wholly owned by China, allegedly, and another with a whole host of issues. Our own Reagan McCarthy ventured down to the Peach State multiple times to cover the situation on the ground. The election in its closing days hit numerous roadblocks. For starters, Perdue couldn’t do final get-out-the-vote events due to one of his staffers testing positive for COVID a week from Election Day. He had to quarantine. Second, Mitch McConnell decided to gum up the works for $2,000 COVID relief checks, which had majority support. After months of grueling economic pain due to the lockdown regime, Congress decided to derail a relief bill because the checks…were too big. At the same time, President Trump shoulders some of the blame for going after Georgia Republicans more than the Democrats. The lingering allegations of voter fraud, some legitimate some not so much, cast further doubts on Republican voters who did not trust the system. The 2020 presidential race was stolen, so why should they participate in the Senate runoffs was the mindset here.

500,000 Georgians did not listen to Lin Wood - plus I heard what he said, he didn’t say don’t vote - go watch the video.

Voters don’t fight for candidates that don’t even fight for themselves.

I said right here on FR these seats were lost back in the second week of November, long before Lin Wood said anything.

Perdue & Loeffler were weak and feeble candidates who ignored the fraud on their voters in their own Nov 3 election, did nothing to even address their own voters concerns about the fraud.

Smarten up

Buyer’s remorse will be high Which means our side will win

Califronia governance is rock-bottom awful, insane. And yet statewide, the Democrats win in a landslide every time.

Why? Because, demographically the place is a permanent lock for the Left. The populace is frankly too third-world too support anything other than leftwing political victories.

What happened Nov 3rd is that it became clear that the USA is now a coast-to-coast California.

There may be some "ratchet" moves along the way, but our fate is sealed.

Agree - and note how quiet Lin Wood has been, now that he managed to send the country into a death spiral - due to IDIOTS on our side, who don’t even know how to execute a boycott (daa, Trump goes to Georgia twice to tell us to vote and our idiots say, no we’re boycotting).

Really smart, and what the hell did that accomplish?

Look, I don’t disagree that Perdue and Loffler were less than stellar candidates - but you cannot discount the demotivating effects that Wood and Powell had on Trump’s voting base. Can we at least agree on that point?

So people listened to Lin Wood instead of President Trump - no chance.

Lin Wood never told people to not vote, and I’m no Lin Wood fan either.

Perdue & Loeffler didn’t even ask Brian Kemp to do an audit of the Nov 3rd vote, when all their constituents were asking for it

Of course they did. But if the Republican turnout had been high, it may well have put the election margin even outside the ability of the Rats in Georgia to steal it. A 52-48 election can be quietly and easily stolen with just a few thousand votes. Make the same election 58-42 and it’s not so easy. The lower Republican turnout because of weak GOP candidates and a failure to fully back President Trump’s policies put the results squarely in the margin of fraud and let the Rats do their dirty work.

Mitch’s family’s Chinese shipping company is now probably twice as valuable as it would have been with Trump around. Mitch, the old double dipper, a dagger in our backs when he originally sold our jobs to the Chicoms, another dagger when Mitch took out our savior, DJT. May McConnell and his fellow GOP stooges burn in hell.

Wasn’t Trump telling voters to stay home because the voting would be crooked?

What happened to Sidney Powell's "Kraken?" Did Perseus fly by with Medusa's head turning the Kraken to stone?

(The original "Clash of the Titans" was a great movie by the way.)

Lin Wood and Sidney Powell, both did in fact tell Georgia voters that they should not vote “until it could be established that the Dominion machines and voting irregularities were corrected.”

On several occasions of her appearance, on FoxNews and Newsmax, attorney Sidney Powell was directly asked whether or not Georgia voters should cast ballots in the run-off election ... Powell would not give a definitive yes or no answer. Rather, she provided a qualified response, stating that the deficiencies must be first corrected, which - since there was no indication from the GA authorities that any corrections were being accomplished - amounted to Powell’s indirect way of telling GA residents not to vote, or at least not to trust that their vote would matter.

How many times did President Trump - the president of the United States, - request of Governor Kemp that such audit be accomplished? He was ignored. Yet you suggest that the two candidates themselves would have had a more compulsive argument?

Again 500,000 people didn’t follow Lin Wood or Sidney Powell instead of President Trump, no matter what they said or didn’t say regardless.

How many times did Perdue & Loeffler - the Senators of Georgia - request of Governor Kemp that such audit be accomplished? - Answer: ZERO

Just maybe if the Republican GA Governor and Republican Sec. of State did their f'ing jobs things would be different.

The problem is most here don't seem to know that they actually did their jobs, Trump lost and that was what their job really was. Money really does matter.
