Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume told "The Story" Wednesday night that America is more divided right now than at any point in his life, adding that even the period of strife in the late 1960s over the Vietnam War "wasn't as bad as this."
"This is as bad as it's ever gotten [except] perhaps [during] the Civil War," Hume told host Martha MacCallum. "So the challenge for leaders at a time like this is [to] attempt to tamp us down, how we find places to agree, because this is poisonous to our country."
Hume credited President Trump for making a video statement Wednesday evening in which the president said he "unequivocally" condemned last week's riot at the U.S. Capitol. However, the analyst wondered whether the message had come too late.
He added that, while Trump bears responsibility for spreading false claims about election irregularities, President-elect Joe Biden didn't help the situation by suggesting last week that police treated the rioters lightly because the crowd was mostly White.
"There are a lot of people in this country who believe that we are a nation of systemic racism," Hume said. "But there are a great many who believe we are not. It's a point of deep division in this country, so why he [Biden] would choose on that occasion to feed that is a good question.
"He has the job now of trying to unify things. One way you could do it is if you could call off the impeachment dogs, but it may be too late for that."

I don’t go that far. I don’t have time to argue with pigs. If anything I just ask them to provide one example of how diversity makes us better. If they give the usual answer, it makes life richer or something like that I ask how?
Culture, language, borders. Without them you don’t have a country. Putin is so concerned about the Russian language being preserved he is establishing studies in Russian language. It is apparently much like our English with many words having similar meanings or similar words that are not the same.
One of the problems is that the MSM let this go unchallenged, dutifully nodded their heads and let the race baiters and hustlers spin their lies without so much as a whimper of factual counterargument and lay a huge guilt trip on White Americans. After that they brazenly demanded even Federal money and even more political authority that empowered the race baiters even more. The silence on this BS has entrenched these frauds into the system; they are now part of the Establishment.
Oh, and look for some sort of reaerations bill to be proposed and passed. While those on this board (and certainly not me) will fall for it, plenty of Karens and soy boys will after pop culture and the MSM aggressively promotes it. These people will gladly support giving away money and power because they are paralyzed with fear about being called a "racist"

The immediate trouble is that they are NOW in charge (due to stolen elections! Hey! They kill babies and call it “freedom”, but no! they wouldn’t stoop to “cheating” in an election. And then... After they kill babies, lie, cheat, steal... they want to dominate your life and your choices.
The GOP is in ruins. They are FINISHED! DONE! My view of the present day gop is this... they are ALL just a bunch of crooks involved in a robbery. All they care about is getting paid by the other crooks.

After the 2016 election, the left and elites together doubled down in their massive propaganda efforts and we were treated to 4 years of anti-Trump rants and lies - throughout every medium. I said the day after the 2016 election that unless conservative patriots controlled some of their own media, there would never be a president looking out for the American people again - and this is the end result.
I use “conservative patriot” instead of “republican” because in 2016 some Republicans endorsed Hillary - and in 2020 even more openly opposed Trump, exposing the Republocrat Party as just two heads of the same hydra.

Ironic. His agenda was basically their agenda, but when push came to shove, they proved to be liars about their political goals. Those goals were to stay in office and enjoy the cream and honey of the land. Doing real work to get the country back on track?
