Pelosi's tweet hinting Russia was behind Trump's win remains untouched as Twitter hits those doubting Biden's victory
A resurfaced May 2017 tweet from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., has led to calls for consistency from Twitter as the social media giant continues its efforts to crack down on those skeptical of the results of the 2020 presidential election.
Twitter has been at the center of a political firestorm since it announced Friday that it had banned President Trump from the platform. After slapping Trump tweets that challenged President-elect Biden's victory with various labels and temporarily suspending him following last week's riots on Capitol Hill, Twitter stated that the outgoing president would no longer be welcomed back.
However, on the eve of Robert Mueller's appointment as a special counsel to investigate allegations of collusion between Russian officials and the Trump 2016 campaign, Pelosi tweeted: "Our election was hijacked. There is no question. Congress has a duty to #ProtectOurDemocracy & #FollowTheFacts.
Mueller's investigation ultimately found no evidence of collusion and a 2018 report from the Senate Intelligence Committee that there was no evidence that Russia changed vote tallies in the 2016 election.
Critics have called on Twitter to respond to Pelosi's falsehood related to the 2016 election.
"Uh oh Twitter why is this allowed," radio host Dana Loesch asked.
"Incitement!" Daily Wire writer Amanda Prestigiacomo sarcastically exclaimed

Nanzi needs to have her Twitter account canceled. She’s inciting violence.
I guess I’m not the only one who noticed that Instagram and
probably a number of other forums posted the election results
right under any Conservative comments about the election for
over a month. (2020 into 2021)
Funny, I didn’t see anything like that in four years under
Trump.
On top of that, they went with the idea he was an illegitimate
president for the full four years.
How long have we been hearing that too? So long as to be completely sick of it. Hypocrisy is a wonderful thing though when so easily exposed.
No conservative should be on Twitter. They will tank if we all leave.
As goes the old adage. If it weren’t for double standards, the left would have no standards at all.
Just where the heck is Pelosi?
She was not at the “impeachment” yesterday and is still missing today.
Wild horses shouldn’t be able to drag her away from that.
.
So fox didn’t bother to print a graphic of the tweet. I wonder why?
It is amazing how we are so willing to accept ethical deficiencies out of people when they are on our side. Both sides engage in this support of these scoundrels because of something they want out of the government or simply to win. Trump had a horrid record of treating women even wives, a relatively poor record with his business, yet the right said the trade off is acceptable to have someone drain the swamp. The left of course are masters of this, as long as their leaders deliver the goodies, they are held to no standards.
We need to select better people to lead our governments, and not just people that are most likely to win.
Odd, it was there about halfway down the page when I posted the article.
Jesus Christ won’t run for office, until he does, we will have nothing but sinners to choose from. If you think there are better people than Trump who can pull off Middle East peace agreements like he did, boost a lethargic economy like he did, attract minority voters to us like he did, get judges through like he did, cut regulation like he did, and not personally profit from these successes like he did, confound and make Democrats explode like he did, you are delusional. Everyone is a sinner. His sins are right out there to see, not hidden; he’s not a deceiver. Those “better characters” you are thinking of, none of which must among his critics since all of whom are self-promoting cowards, who are they and how do they keep their sin hiddene? If it’s not out there to see, then it just hasn’t been exposed yet. But it will come out, at the worst possible moment.
