The U.S. Department of Justice held a news conference Tuesday with acting U.S. Attorney Michael Sherwin and FBI Washington Field Office ADIC Steven D'Antuono discussing charges and arrests made in connection with last Wednesday's riot at the U.S. Capitol by Trump supporters.
According to the DOJ officials, there are more than 170 active subject files seeking individuals identified as potential persons that committed crimes, a number that is expected to swell into the "hundreds" in coming weeks. The DOJ has launched investigations into serious felony charges of "sedition and conspiracy," as well as a "mind-blowing" number of crimes related to the events that transpired last week.

And sedition charges? They're going to do their "oh look,our Deep State lackey judges happened to be drawn to hear for every single person we've charged".
Except for those directly involved in vandalism or actual actions that injure, what are they actually prosecuting?
I also noticed details around the shooting of Ashley Barrett are pretty scarce.
I think this is just another action to cow people not to stand up.

Maybe it’s prudent to look at the situation differently. Being a Patriot will get you jailed. Being Antifa or BLM will not get you jailed.
Solution: Become Antifa. You don’t have to waste time fighting Antifa, or arguing patriotic values with them (waste of time anyway). Dress in Antifa gear, carry their flag, heck, join them on their side of the line if you want to protest. It doesn’t matter what your beliefs are, just look like an Antifa and you can destroy what you want. You won’t be arrested, and the media won’t even question your motives or investigate who you are. Neither will the FBI for that matter.
How many arrests were there when POTUS had to go into the bunker when the White House was attacked?
Gee. How many of the people who assaulted the White House and injured scores of Secret Servive agents, set fires etc in Washington ,D.C. were arrested or prosecuted? Seems like selective, political prosecution by people drunk with power and hubris. Beware of the backlash.
