Leadership should strip her of all committee assignments, like they did to Steve King before exculpatory facts came out, then ignore them as if they didn't matter.

McCarthy needs to do this, or the base could conclude that his "New McCarthyism" is simply the McCarthyism of the Left and demand that they both need to get primaried.

He called on her to resign from the House Republican Leadership Conference, not from the Freedom Caucus. I just googled a list of the 44 Freedom Caucus members and it doesn’t look like Princess Liz is on the list. They’re probably more careful now after that loon Justin Amash embarrassed them.
