A New Jersey congresswoman accused some lawmakers of leading groups around the Capitol for “reconnaissance” a day before the riot carried out by a pro-Trump mob.
New Jersey Rep. Mikie Sherrill said in a Tuesday night Facebook live address to her constituents that she witnessed the alleged exploratory tours.
The unidentified members of Congress “had groups coming through the Capitol” in “a reconnaissance for the next day,” Sherrill said.
In the over 13-minute video, Sherrill said she intends to see those lawmakers “are held accountable, and if necessary, ensure that they don’t serve in Congress.”

She doesn’t name the congressmen giving these alleged “reconnaissance tours” or defines what she means by “reconnaissance”.
Within 30 days, I’ll predict that virtually no one but actual Senators, Congressmen, and staff members are allowed into the building, with Nat’l Guardsmen temporarily guarding things until another 1k Capital Police can be hired, trained and put into place.
The more that things develop...the more it looks like old DDR (East Germany) and the way that the Stassi controlled things.

Exactly. She will have no power to hold anyone accountable. It would surprise me if the Republicans actually get office space, much less have any sway in any sort of legislative proceedings.

Another lyin Dem. . .A lot of MAGA folks arrived the day before and probably were just tourists visiting their congressman and typically when a group of constituents come to Washington, the Congressman will give them the tour. It happens all the time. More fake news. The only group that pre-planned storming the Capitol were the Dem brownshirts: Antifa.
If this actually happened, which I highly doubt, why is it that Nancy left the speaker’s chair several minutes before the incursion? How is that she seemed to know what was about to happen? How is it that the capitol police not only let the outside barricades be breached but also walked up the steps with the intruders as though they are welcoming them into the capitol? How is it that extreme force was not used by the police until the intruders were deep into the capitol? Now we have a report by a democrat that certain un- named reps conducted surveillance tours the day before? This is playing out like a bad episode of Mission Impossible? Hmmm, didn’t that show involve the deep state of the federal government? I wonder who is calling the shots on this transformation of America?

Reconnaissance has its own definition. Her context implies they were looking for a place to hide for the riots they knew were coming.

Present your evidence to the appropriate authorities or else shut up. Somehow I doubt that either of those will happen.
