Wyoming's Liz Cheney, the third-ranking GOP leader in the House, announced in a statement today that she will vote to impeach President Trump, saying that he "summoned this mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame of this attack."

"There has never been a greater betrayal by a President of the United States of his office and his oath to the Constitution," she said in the statement.

The peaceful transfer of power to Republicans ended 60 years ago when JFK stole the 1960 election.

They called Goldwater a Fascist, they called Nixon a Fascist and wanted to impeach Nixon in his first term and went on to pursue it in his second term, they called Reagan a Fascist and tried to prevent him being seated, spun conspiracy theories about the Iranian hostages, colluded with the KGB to try to defeat him in 1984 and went on to try to prosecute him for Iran Contra, they wanted to pursue Bush I for the Iranian hostages and other things, they lied about the recession and conceded it was already over when Clinton took office. They called Bush II a Fascist and tried to steal the 2000 election (if Republicans hadn’t made a fuss about the ballot counting in Florida it may have been successful) and they challenged the electoral vote in 2005. In 2016 they called Trump a Fascist and ran conspiracy theories about Russian pee pee videos and stolen votes.

Any WY residents on this thread? If you have a shot at primary-ing her next year, I live 45 min away from the WY State line, and would love to come help walk precincts for any GOP opponent challenging her. I've got 1000's of hours of experience doing that. And though I'm not a resident, we often visit with our closest friends (Riverton residents). And some years ago I lived over nine months in 22 County.

Or do most WY voters deeply resent anyone from out of state helping out in local campaigns? I remember the anti-COLO "Greenie Weenies" and "Live in Colorado, Fish in Colorado" bumper stickers of the 70s. But seeing our local shopping mall parking lots filled with WY license plates (mostly 2 County & 5 County) on Sunday afternoons for 3 or 4 decades now, I often thought I should get revenge with a homemade bumper sticker saying, "Live in Wyoming, Shop in Wyoming". Heh heh!

LOL!! I did do better. I got rid of him back in 1979. Raised my two sons by myself and remained single. I decided I didn't want to take the chance of ending up with a loser again. I retired in 2003, and have enjoyed my solitude, especially in my old age.
