WASHINGTON — Lawmakers will now be required to walk through metal detectors before entering the House of Representatives chamber in the wake of the Capitol riots.
The acting Sergeant At Arms announced on Tuesday afternoon that magnetometers had been placed at selected entrances to the chamber and reminded lawmakers that firearms were forbidden.

This is aimed directly at Lauren Boebert, new Rep from CO, who carries openly. Firearms are NOT forbidden, but now the Communists are in control, and the ‘Republicans’ agree with them. May the Lord judge the whole kit and kaboodle.

So the metal detector goes off? So what? Now they know she has one. She wasn’t hiding that info from anyone. The metal detector can’t take away her right to carry.

Open carry is illegal in DC other than in ones home or business. It’s a shall issue district so she could get a CCL. I presume her office is her business, but maybe not. I believe they’re forbidden on the floor, I don’t know about the office building.
