“the best non-profane “closing statement”.
Good point - I think this morfadike likes being abused.
Alberta - home of coyotes, drunken indians, and Canucks.
How would I ever have guessed.
The military is a deep swamp.
And the term ‘bootlickers’ doesn’t apply to just police cheerleaders.
Way to paint with a broad brush and insult many brave American patriots that have served, are serving or will serve in the future.
There are many maggots in the above groups, but far more are patriots than are not. The officer corps is totally corrupted, but the NCO corps and enlisted corps are still solid with many patriots.
Anyway, many of my brothers died for your right to feel the way you do and the ability to spout it out, so good for you I guess.
I think you owe all of the true patriots serving a thank you and an apology. I know you won’t because it’s the way you are.
This is good to know. Our enemy has no rules.
How hard is that?
#MAGA
Who are these weird “patriots” here getting their panties in a twist over actual patriots doing what the first American patriots did?
Are they just stupid or are they lowlifes pretending to be American?
That palace of muck and prostitution on the Hill by the Potomac was built by the same patriots who lawlessly rebelled against their lawful king, destroyed and seized his property, and murdered his soldiers.
If the US Cathouse was the seat of British rule those patriots would STORM and BURN it to the ground, and we have idiots who have a problem with that while trying to pass themselves as Trump supporters.
They are gutless lackeys who deserve to be dry humped by Peking like the Canadians will be.
Even the president of Mexico is more of an American than these POS.
Adams, Hancock, and Revere would spit on these bogus patriots.
This Newspaper article headline says that she went to Washington “ to attend a riot” That is such a big lie. Other than a few agitators and maybe the useful Idiots who went into the capital, the other hundreds of thousands of people did not go there to attend a riot. They went there to attend a support President Trump event. He held about 200 rallies in the past five years with zero violence. My heart breaks for this good man.
The US Capitol has become a pit of liars, thieves, murderers, perverts, and traitors.
It and every brick in the District of Corruption should be bulldozed into the Potomac.
If the Founding Fathers saw what a cesspool Washington has become they would level it with cannons and sow the ground with salt.
Who do you cranks think you are fooling?
So, her activities, which were likely peaceful, given her story, still fall under the military ban on protests, correct? (If she was still considered active until her decommissioning came through, that would apply.)
Not sure I can blame her, but she could still have run afoul of the UCMJ.
In fact, given the circumstances, I don’t think I CAN blame her, as long as she was peaceable and stayed out of the building (avoiding the trap).
That’s true.
I’m under the belief that even most of the people that went into the Capitol Building didn’t expect to or plan it that way.
I salute this brave officer who put love of honest government before her own position.
Unlike the political whores who gobble CCP money in return for betraying their country.
The ones violating the UCMJ are those speaking in support of this subversion of the US Constitution.
They are traitors, like all who adhere to them, obeying unlawful orders.
You are taking a lot of hits for your position, but I will not let you take it alone. I agree that our military - lobbyist - industrial complex, and in particular the political brass - the leadership and staff of the Pentagon and of the individual departments - has become extremely detrimental to the cause of freedom and self- government, government of, by and for the people - which hardly even exists any longer.
I also agree that at the point to which we’ve arrived, that it is I’ll-advised for anyone that believes in freedom and self-determination to either go into or remain in military service. You are no longer serving (the now dead) Constitution, you are instead the point of the spear for the fascists that have taken control of our government and society. If you don’t believe that, you are very mistaken and will learn obedience to the new master quickly. The FBI officers learned that lesson some years ago.
Let’s just say that Eisenhower was a master of understatement with his warning.
Anybody wonder why the Left Coast went to the Dark Side?
I was lucky, having served my entire military career at no higher than battalion level. I would never had been a good fit on brigade or division staff.
I was doubly fortunate that my last battalion commander in Germany demanded imagination and independence in his officers. Oh, he was good at chewing my butt often, as I was a 1st LT prone to errors of commission. However, it was forgotten five seconds after I left his office.
Due to a fortunate turn of events, we both ended up at Fort Bliss at about the same time, and I did a second tour of duty working for him.
It's retired generals that irk me the most, those that never take off their rank. They get so used to having their rears kissed, they have a hard time dealing with someone who disagrees with them.
BTW, I recognized five of the generals who signed the letter supporting Trump. I knew a couple of them very well, they were awesome leaders.
As an aside, don't let the political leanings of perfumed princes mislead you. The vast majority of our servicemembers are apolitical, and dedicated to their oath to the Constitution.
When I got back from Germany, I worked at a directorate at Fort Bliss that tested weapons in development. As a young captain, I was assigned as the agency's Operations Officer, which was slotted for a Lt Colonel.
It was one of the very few jobs I ever had with implied power...the CO of the directorate was my Battalion Commander from Germany. Yeah, a lot of people were wary of me, but it didn't take long to gain their confidence. After running my battalion's supply operations in Germany (as a 1st LT), the job was not nearly as difficult.
Back on topic, most duties handled by generals can be performed by bird colonels. As most of us know, colonel is the last promotion that is primarily based on merit, not politics. Getting promoted to colonel was a shock to my Bn Cdr, he was expecting to retire after his command tour was complete. That changed when he took a C-3 battalion to a C-1 in less than two years.
