Twitter stock tumbles 10% after Attacking Trump & Free Speech 👍

Twitter stock fell as much as 10% in premarket trading on Monday after the social-media company permanently banned President Trump’s account on Friday evening.

Twitter’s bosses suspended Trump’s account – which had about 88 million followers – after the world leader’s fanning of conspiracies about voter fraud and election theft spurred thousands of his supporters to lay siege to the Capitol last week.

Not nearly enough. If the worthless, cowardly Republicans were calling out Twitter's silencing of a democratically elected US president with nearly as much fervor as they are denouncing Trump's supporters, Twitter would be down by 50% or more.

They don’t care. Parler is being blocked. Twitter will bounce back because people who are inclined to use that platform are generally addicted to that kind of stimulation.

Same comment as on the 7% thread:

@Jack waited until after trading to start the purge. Only an idiot would think this wouldn’t have a negative effect on userbase->revenue->stock price. 100% anticipated.

So: which groups/individuals did big shorts on TWTR Friday?

This is more of the same money laundering as BLM ‘support’ — political agenda combined with burying the money trail.

I agree. If you really want to hurt Amazon and all these other big tech companies have a country wide trucker strike. Imagine the outcry by ordinary citizens who think this whole coup doesn’t affect them.

When it drops 60% then I’ll be excited. I have always been concerned about corruption, fascists and commies. But even I am surprised how bold and quickly they’re moving-—which tells me they ARE in control. All this boycotting and stuff is a mirage. Our courses of action and resolution are being dwindled down.

Twitter is a proxy for the CIA and NSA, so they’re getting dark money injections as is. They don’t care about profit margins, the full spectrum dominance they have over electronic communications is worth losing billions of dollars.

The average citizen will not care until it hits their wallet and degrades their lifestyle to the point of losing everything. Sadly, when they can’t go out to dinner or buy that new Iphone they’ll either wake up pissed or cry out for more government.

Twitter is tanking far worse than 10%. The ba$tards have likely been buying their own stick to keep the price up.

They are likely down around 30% in real numbers without buy backs.

And soon it will be much lower.

I shut down my account several days ago, but now the site is preventing de-registration. But for that Twitter would be loosing 50% of their registrants.

10% - that was after hours before shut down on Friday. pre-market this a.m. shows - 4%. we’ll see how many actually leave their platform.

I do not use Twitter. My wife is on it all the time.
I do not have an Amazon Prime account either.
My wife canceled her Prime account yesterday.

I saw Dan Bongino on Fox & Friends this am. He is an owner of Parler. He was so pissed off. I would not want to piss off a former secret service agent. You might live to regret it.

Kinda true...Twitter exists on volume/customers. You’d have to get 20-percent of folks to walk away.

Easier task is to get 20-percent to do a 10-day Twitter silence thing...no likes, no contributions. Demonstrate that you can find and use alternate sites.
