The Lords of Silicon Valley make their move.
In 1934 Hitler executed members of his paramilitary organization (the SA – Sturmabteilung or Storm Troopers) to consolidate his power, claiming it was to prevent a planned coup. In like fashion, using the incursion into the Capitol building, the Lords of Silicon Valley used this is a cover to muzzle those whose views with which they disagree.

Not only has Donald Trump -- still the president of the United States -- been permanently banned from Twitter, its rapidly growing, open-to-all substitute Parler has almost simultaneously been de-platformed by Google.
You can’t get their app for Android anymore.
Apple threatens to be next, demanding Parler kowtow (by Saturday!) to Cupertino’s vision of what the world should be.

The control over what a majority of citizens know has been nearly completed. Internally they have meetings discussing how they will control how people think in order to change society. You can see it happening if you watch. This is how the “Cancel Culture” works.

The beautiful thing about the Internet is that alternative paths are easy to generate. Big Tech is cutting its own throat. I do wonder ; however ; how long before the Government itself finds a way to take Free Republic down?

D’rats will soon track visits to subversive (right-wing/Christian/2A) sites and share that data with businesses, schools, banks, insurance and medical institutions.
D’rats will then enact anti-subversive laws to blacklist sites they consider subversive.

As a guy who understands how the internet technically works, I can tell you that those easy to generate paths are only allowed if the people who control important levers on the internet allow you to. I won’t go into details but these technical details is why the government of Iran can ‘turn off’ the internet at will.

Yep. There are certain hardware and software choke points that are near 100% efective.
The technology companies are in bed with the government. It’s how 100% of the data flow is accessible at all times to those in government. We are no different from China or Iran that way. Monitored and if need be (government’s decision on “need”), confronted with deady force.

Next step, wrong think arrests and reeducation camps. It’s going to get ugly real fast. Patriots are going to have to adapt to non internet forms of communications real quick. Pirate radio comes to mind.
