Rasmussen: Trump's Approval Rating Rises After DC Protests

The Rasmussen poll, one of the most accurate polls of the 2020 election, finds President Trump’s approval is actually rising after Wednesday‘s protests.

As Democrats move to impeachment and some establishment Republicans call for the 25th Amendment to remove Trump, the poll finds 48% approve of the President’s job performance.

A source close to the polling firm tells Newsmax that the rolling survey saw Trump’s approval soar to 51% on Thursday night.

Trump’s approval has been up overall, jumping from 45% just before Christmas.

“Americans are disgusted that cities burned for months and Washington and the media did nothing,” our source says, “But they still like Trump.”

This is a warning to the GOP elite that are showing themselves as the cowards they are - they are running in the wrong direction, trying to be nice to the GOP enemies that want to destroy them.

I repeat the line I said I wanted Trump to adopt for the whole of 2018 through 2020 - WE ARE THE TRUE RESISTANCE.

Now is not the time to be cowed by the media or what they think or what they are trying to get the sheeple to think. Now is the time to think of the 2022 House and Senate seats we want to win.

With Trump's support we killed the blue wave all over the country, minus the fraud in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Biden's win was limited to 17 counties in the whole U.S., and Pelosi's majority was shrunk to withing a whisker of her losing the Speaker's post.

We are the 75 million strong GOP voters, not the GOP talking heads in the Senate. We cannot forget that.

There are two Americas. The establishment and liberal media's America where politicians like Pelosi and Biden are noble heros and groups like BLM and Antifa are brave warriors fighting the good fight. While a small group of right wing villains led be the evil mastermind President Trump are opposing the good they are trying to accomplish. Then you have the REAL America where the vast majority like President Trump and support much of what he stands for.

Unfortunately if you landed from another planet and turned on the news you would likely think the first group made up 90% of America and the second 10%.

The problem for the left and media is that perception isn't reality. They can silence conservatives and ban them from all their messaging platforms...but that doesn't mean that those 70+ million Trump voters are suddenly gone, as much as the media wishes it were so. In fact history has demonstrated time and time again when you ban groups from speaking freely and cut them out of the arena of ideas you only strengthen their resolve and radicalize them.

In other words, the left and media may very well end up getting the insurrection they claim to be trying to prevent by pretending the other side is irrelevant and not worthy of a voice.

Instead the very first picture was a group of people peacefully milling around outside the capitol. In front was a lady who appeared to be in her 70's wearing a fur coat with kid next to her holding a Trump sign. At that point I just rolled my eyes and laughed. This was no coup! This was a political protest where a small handful of the tens of thousands of protestors went a little too far. If our government can be toppled by elderly women and children then it doesn't deserve to survive anyway."
