The path to a second impeachment of President Trump following the Capitol riots of his supporters has run into a roadblock:.... The Democrats' schedule shows the chamber off through Inauguration Day.
What’s more, that’s followed on Jan. 18 with Martin Luther King Jr. Day and eventually the inauguration on Jan. 20. Ditto for the Senate.
Officials said that there has been no change in the schedule.

Side Bar Comments: IMHO, POTUS, Domald J. Trump did the exact right thing by declining to attend the the Inauguration of illegally elected Democrat POTUS, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris....period. Why attend the Inauguration of criminal, corrupt politician, a cheater and a would be destroyer of the Great American Republic.
But....I also predict that many other thousands of Americans, both Democrat, Republican or otherwise will not attend either, because they want to boycott the “false” Biden/Harris Inauguration or, they are frightened for their safety, for obvious reasons.
This “faux” Inauguration will be the worst one in American History. The simple facts are, that Democrat, Joe Biden cannot speak for longer then twenty minutes without tiring or even remaining coherent for that short time. Sad Days for the once great American Republic!!!

Honestly, Trump did what he could. Part of me was hoping they would do it just to lift the burden from him. I actually, as an Now former American, want to apologize for the treatment he received while trying to help his countrymen and constitution.

One of Ulysses Grant’s cabinet members was impeached by the House for corruption even though the guy resigned first. The Senate didn’t get a two-thirds vote to convict him — mainly because many of the senators thought it was a waste of time.
I’m very proud of all Trumps done and tried to do......and probably will try to do even in the future. I don’t think he’s done using his weight where it’s wanted.
This country will never again make the favorable inroads He’s achieved....and we all rejoiced so with him as he turned this ship on the right course., at least for awhile..... But it’s feeling pretty dim now like the light is leaving it’s shores. As good people back away from the wickedness we see stepping into place.
