Sen. Joe Manchin, a key Democratic lawmaker, said he will not support another round of stimulus checks, saying there are more pressing matters at hand.
"Absolutely not. No," the West Virginia lawmaker told the Washington Post. "Getting people vaccinated, that’s job No. 1. ... How is the money that we invest now going to help us best to get jobs back and get people employed? And I can’t tell you that sending another check out is gonna do that to a person that’s already got a check."...

How about a wealth tax? Billionaires only. They invested heavily in Biden so 2 can play the game. Leave them with $400k as Biden wl leave alone everyone else.
West Virginia is at the very bottom when states are ranked by median household income. I’m sure the people he represents will appreciate that.

If I was a senator or congress or whatever, I would never vote or say no to giving the people I work for. He is worth about 3 million dollars and whatever he is hiding throughout his family.

Sorry, I hate to break it to you but Manchin is most likely doing this at the INFORMAL REQUEST OF BIDEN/SCHUMER to get them “off the hook”. They want those hundreds of billions for their pals such as the alternative energy scammers and blue state city/state governments and unions.
Until the GOP replacement disappears, too, along with the governor.
