Why bother, if they believe President Trump will be out of office in a couple of weeks?
It's almost like they want President Trump out now because they think the Biden/Harris farce may come apart in the next couple of days. They obviously don't want President Trump in there for another 4 years.

An essential part of the requirement for this is:
written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office
"We don't like the guy" is not the same as "unable to perform his duties"
But I suppose such nuances do not matter.

That is how I understand it as well. The president has to be UNABLE to carry on duties of his office. PDJT looked perfectly capable and healthy giving the speech yesterday.
