Key Points

Mick Mulvaney, President Trump’s former chief of staff, told CNBC he has resigned as special U.S. envoy to Northern Ireland. Mulvaney said he called Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday night to tell him of his decision. “I can’t do it. I can’t stay,” said Mulvaney, adding that Trump was “not the same as he was eight months ago.” He said other officials may follow suit.

Wood was not right about Pence in that it was a betrayal if he didnt reject the electors

No State legislature sent a competing slate of electors. That’s on the States.

He may be right about Pence aligning with Ryan or other such things.

But Pence did not betray the Constitution by what he did yesterday.

Russian revolution stuff. If you want a career in the future government, you go with the winner, no matter who they are.

This is textbook “rats leaving a sinking ship”.

I wonder if we will ever know who Q was?

We’re losing our special envoy to Northern Ireland two weeks early? Oh no whatever shall we do? Nice virtue signaling there Mikey.

I won’t vote for a Republican that has no fire in his or her belly. They will all be judged by their actions and words over the past week and coming weeks. They need to be fighting like it’s 1994 again. If they can’t or they won’t, they just need to go.

Ah yes - when Democrats destroy whole cities, abandon lawful business owners and residents we have to support them.

But people actually standing up for our rights and a stolen election because of a 6 hour protest that did no real damage?

BS. Do not be gaslit.

L Lin Wood continues to make radical conspiracy claims on parler about how the DOD laid a trap for Pence and are watching it play out

There's a weird little corner of this forum that would be perfect for this guy.

Keep deluding yourself that this was Antifa. There may have been a few of them scattered in there but this was Trump supporters.

Quite frankly, yesterday was the most glorious and exhilarating thing I have seen on television since I watched the Berlin Wall come down.

Can’t he wait a week?

Lol! It is quite humorous that all the swamp rats are making some meaningless gesture of "quitting" a week before they are out of job anyway in the hopes of ingratiating themselves with establishment so they keep getting invited to the DC parties.

Yes, for example....pulling down the barricades and egging people on.

If you are already of the mindset that Pence should die by firing squad thanks to L Lin Wood it might not take much to get you to try to crash through barricades protecting Pence

I agree totally. Yesterday warmed my heart for it proved that there is still some fight left in the true American spirit.
